ESPN NFL 2K5 CPU vs. CPU SLIDERS. BUILT FOR MY MADDEN 06 ROSTERS

So I have been on a mission to cut down INTs in this game as this is one of this game's biggest flaws. I have done some research to learn how the game sliders worked (or didn't) and how attributes and penalties even can affect INTs and the CPU QBs throwing into double+ coverage. What I have learned is that attributes such as PRC(Pass Read Coverage) along with certain plays in a playbook will call to have the QB throw to a spot rather than go thru progression reads. I will not explain everything but I have done a lot of testing with different slider sets, penalty sets, EQ (on/off) along with doing global edits to certain attributes to cut down on INTs such as PRC, Composure for QBs. Coverage, Catch and Aggression for LBs and DBs. Agility and Stamina for the entire game.

I took some knowledge from others about this subject and took some of their sliders and tips for cutting down the INTs and having this game play a bit more realistically. This started by me having a roster file by someone who really didn't bother to work on it then upload it and it was completely undone. This took months to do and after making some adjustments to the slider sets I found along with some global edits for the 05 roster with hours upon hours of testing and I believe I have found a slider set along with my 05 roster that plays much better. I have had some really good games statistically that looked and played really well. Just had a game where Clinton Portis had 22 att, 100 yds, 1 TD, Mark Brunell passed for 296 with 3TDs and 0 INTs at 55%. Jake Delhomme passed for 264 with 2 TDs, no INTs at 50%. 3 sacks total in the game, D. Patten 7 for 100, Steve Smith 8 for over 120. Final score 28-20 Wash.

I've done a lot of games with the current sliders I have with my roster and the game plays a lot better. More DBs knocking down passes, over throws happen at a decent rate, get more stops in the backfield on RBs, star backs don't always have 200 yds rushing. I have to say I like these settings and here is the all the settings I have for this roster set that I will upload but before I post mind you that the ratings will look a bit funky for the overall team ratings and for the DBs and LBs as I had to cut the coverage in order to minimize having 8-9 INTs a game. So don't pay too much attention to the ratings. I have another roster file I will upload. It's the same year but with the global adjustments I have made and i really tested this out for CPU vs CPU. So for those that like to do things like this and looking to have all these picks cut down well here you go with my 2nd roster file and the settings I use:

    For Both

    Blocking: 32
    Passing: 40
    Rushing: 32
    Catching: 40
    Coverage: 0
    Pursuit: 1
    Tackling: 0
    Kicking: 40
    Fatigue: 4
    Injury: 21
    Fumble: 26
    Interception: 0

    Game Options:
    Mins: 10
    Game Speed: Fast
    Coach Mode: On
    EQ: Off
    Multiple Hot Routes: On

    Penalties:
All at 30 except for: Clipping at 0

So what I did for QBs was crank their Composure to 95 except for more scrambling Qbs. I gave them lower composure ratings to make them take off more from the pocket and lower the PRC so they will hold the ball a bit longer and have them go thru their "reads" more. You can try them out with my roster files or just try them and see what's what.
