West Chester Henderson, no one I can think of, but I did play against Arlen Harris from Downington for four years and Matt Schaub is one of my good buddies, and he went to WC East.

Played with Joey Hiben in HS. He went to N.D. as a TE however I think he quit the team despite getting a little bit of PT as a true freshmen in Charlie Weis's first season.

I also played against a few pretty good TE's in Matt Spaeth and John Carlson.

I dont know if this counts, but the head coach for Washington State i( Bill Doba ) he went to school and used to coach football there at Mishawaka high School...South Bend, Indiana...also out of Mishawaka Rich Rogeman...Played football for the Bear , down in " Bama" 77-80

The only football player to come out of North Royalton HS (Ohio) and do something was George White, who is a LB for the BC Lions in the CFL and was a 4 year starter for Boston College. I know he's led the CFL in tackling at least one year and been towards the top most years. He almost made it with the Packers but got cut on one of the last cut dates.

E.G. Green - Played a few years in the NFL for the Colts.

Glen Coffee - Currently a running back for Alabama.

Terry Witherspoon (FB, spent a little time with the Chargers in camp/preseason, then played a game or two with the Cowboys a few years back)
Dion Byrum (CB, Panthers)

I played with Dion, he was a year older than me. He went to college (Ohio) as a HB so it kinda shows that Monroe is big on the running game. Another kid I played with there is Albert Ashcraft (another RB) who was with S Carolina but transferred to Western Carolina because of some troubles with Spurrier.

Jerry Stackhouse, Josh Howard, George Koonce, Jesse Campbell are a couple that come to mind right off the top of my head.

Chris Leak Won 2 of his state championship games against my High School

Steven Smith (LaSalle, Played most of the season with the Sixers)


I actually sat in front of Steven Smith in Algebra class.
