What's the extent of online play?
How is the game actually played? I read through the website and couldn't get a handle on what I'd actually be doing. Is it a game where you coach your squad, or do you control your players?
What mode or feature separates this title from other football titles in the past and present? Especially, why should hardcore football fans check this out?

What are the abilities for?
How will balance be struck for leagues or franchises?
Can teams regress?
Will penalties be eventually added? Onside kicks?
Will matchmaking be an option? I am having a hard time finding games.
