Do Tecmo actually care about the PS3 or did M$ sign them to a month long exclusive deal? (in which case, lost sales as other games will be out then)

I downloaded the original for the Wii last night. I started to get the Throwback for the 360, but I didnt have any points. I had some already for the Wii. It was like I was playing when I was a kid. It was fun as hell. I should have been downloaded this game. Someone please refresh my memory. Did the original Tecmo Bowl on Nintendo have player names? I thought it did, but a friend said it didnt.

This could be possible, but I also think there might be a hang up with Sony certification which has happened in the past.

Yes, it did. The original Tecmo Bowl on the NES had no NFL license, but it had player names and 12 teams. The Wii re-release had the names stripped out.

It'll be out soon enough. After seeing this game's high def 3D visuals in 1080p there's no way I can go back to playing this in 2D or on an emulator on PC. Imagine this game with an NFL license. It'd be blockbuster.

If the NT glitch and online play is tweaked I may even buy the PS3 version as well.
