          No during game play calling is interesting. I believe that was the only way to go head to head in Front Page Sports Pro 95 (a game well ahead of it's time). That was during the early days of internet, so I'm not sure how the head to head play was achieved.

          "No during game play calling" is definitely NOT a game killer for me.

                Curious what other OSers think about not being able to call plays during the game.

                  Like I said, I'm not interested anymore. I'd like to play a good, legit PC football game. But, I love the chess match and strategy of being the Head Coach on gameday. That's the best part of football for me... the game of football.

                  I enjoy the management of trading/recruiting/drafting/etc. But, isn't the best part of football sims, getting to use the players you've "managed" on gameday?

                  I gotta be the play caller. Otherwise, it just doesn't interest me.
