Agreed, but from the little bits of info we have it points to more than a mobile game, in my opinion.
Grow said "not pc only" don't want to get into the semantics.
The face renders, which could be CGI or work models but I don't see why you release them then.
Harford saying twice that he was working on an "NFL" game.
Grow "franchise is the soul of our game".
Grow talking about full and active sidelines.
The shots at EA "more than a roster update".


To me adds up to be a real console game or a mobile game that bends the definition of mobile due to scope and quality.
Or one of the biggest troll jobs in promotion I've ever seen.

With the Montana heads said to be from the game and confirmed to not be a face scan I think face scanning can be dropped from expectations pretty safely.

Yeah, in the sense of this: If you quote the "PC Only" and then take this theory:

The Order is not "PC Only," it's "PS4 Only!"

It's weird, but it makes sense, which is what they're getting. Devs speak like this sometimes to get around technicalities.

The Order is not a PC exclusive. It is not available for PC and only PC. It just so happens that The Order isn't available for PC at all.

All I'm saying is I need a statement from the developers what platforms this game is confirmed on. Until then, it's all conjecture and speculation, even with all the hints, for me.

It certainly is speculation and conjecture at this point, I just strongly believe from the bits of info we have it is a console/pc game. Which makes me ponder the slim possibility it is an NFL game. However odds are in a few months we'll have madden and no alternative. But I do think JM16 has more legs to stand than a Hiphopgamer rumor or the other stuff over the years.

You made some good points in your posts and I say to anyone that sees potential for a NFL game or whatever, based on the actual info about JM16, that's a reasonable theory and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. For all the seeming certainty expressed in this thread against this or that, none of us know what JM16 will encompass once released.

Anyway, when putting all the available info out there together, they raise some interesting questions about the game itself and what's possible in the football gaming genre.

If going the non-NFL route with customization, it's going to have to be clever. Can't go the TeamBuilder route (large infrastructure, and file-sharing restrictions).

Perhaps a code system? I'd prefer it not be as biblical in length as APF's codes, but that's less of a big deal now since consoles can take screenshots these days and share them in chat/instant message. But what would really be cool is if the game had OCR capabilities, so that when someone sends you a code screenshot, you can load it in your game and allow the tool to read it and build the uniform for you without you ever having to input codes manually. So, imagine having a BackBreaker style editor where all the mods you make can be captured in a code that can be shared.

Just has to be a way that codes can be shared easily between users and the company won't be dragged into legal woes over hosting. You have to figure that when EA was sending legal notices to TeamBuilder users over them putting up NFL assets, and they have the NFL license, then surely a developer with no license of any kind will run into a similar but more costly issue.

A great idea, and you know it won't be in the game.

Im still waiting for people to realize if you a causal gamer 9 time out of 10 your are not buying ever year.Sometimes your are.An kids get the money from us.They saw us playing games why you think they are.Kids dont learn stuff they never seen you do.Most copy there parent.The game should be good after year 2.
