Love the new video and interview. A must see for sure.

The biggest selling point for me which is brought up significantly in this 9 minute video besides the cool gameplay in the background is total customization.

It is spelled out for everyone. You can re-create any team from any league. The editing tool is so deep that there are no limits to what you can create as the user.

You can create the entire NFL if you want. There are two seperate franchise modes. In one of them, You can have a 32 team league with all of your created teams.

Sold! I am getting this game Day One. No doubt about it. This video just tripled my level of excitement for this game.

The customization will be outstanding. The gameplay will be so unique and innovative. I am pumped up!

Player vs. Player on-line will be a blast with friends and OSers. Now which system to get it for....hmmm. I'm leaning towards 360.

I saw this too and was about to post on it...that running back got jacked the hell up! That linebacker brought the wood...that was impressive! With the game playing in the background, it looks like an actual tv broadcast...I am excited to play this game. I am definitely buying it now.

                  Penalties are definitely in.

I know there are reports of no injuries, but one play, a player couldn't get up. It could have been that the replay cut away too quickly, but it looked like he was still down. Still no running plays gaining any yards.

the players do seem to be heading towards the sideline after the extra point though. this leads me to think that in the final version there will be full sidelines.

no, I think that might have been the final play or something and they were just celebrating... i really doubt their first football game will have sideline personal or refs, just because of the extra time and effort it would take to have them react realistically to sideline tackles and other stuff with euphoria.

I think they just wanted to have this game run smooth as possible with the regular gameplay first and foremost for their first release.... 11vs11.... and in the future or maybe this year after an patch update...they can add sideline personal, when their engine can handle the extra players on the sidelines.

I believe that is the main reasons they have the sidelines scaled realistically in the first place...it is to easily add new stuff to the graphics engine over time as they tweak it, so it can still run smooth.

I hate how when they talk about customization all they talk about is team customization(only jerseys) and stadiums. I wish they would confirm or deny player fully customizable weight and height already!

None the less I'm glad to see something new come out but, the anticipation is killing me. I really hope there is more than just a few different body styles.

Honestly, everyone should get both Madden and Backbreaker. I prefer the chess match of Madden, but can appreciate the 3rd person perspective of Backbreaker as well as the customization. Also, in my opinion every gamer should purchase the Tecmo Bowl download. Money talks and the NFL listens when dinero's involved
