Seems like customization in Backbreaker will be limitless. I can't wait to see what the community comes up with. I saw in one of the forums that a gamer in Forza Motorsport (same customization as Backbreaker) was able to create an exact photorealistic replica of the Joker from the Dark Knight on the roof of his car... hey that would look cool in an endzone

here are the links to his car he made using the same customization Backbreaker is using..

    (Christopher Walken)

That is simply amazing especially the 2nd one with Walken.

On another note I heard Rob say that you can play on the O-line if you wanted to but, he just said center so I don't know If he means every position on the O-line. Not sure how that will work but, I'm sure people who have actually played the O-line position will love it if they enjoy the game.

Staying power is very important. The game has so many different playing modes. First there are two seperate franchise modes. Then you have split screen, co-op, tackle alley and the customization tools will keep you very busy as well. They are shipping the game with 60 ready made teams.

One of the major flaws with All Pro Football 2K8 was the lack of depth. Only one single season mode and a limited editing tool. It's hard releasing an non licensed game. You gotta give the gamer alot in return as the trade off. From what it looks like, Backbreaker is doing that for their May 25th release.

Saying the game isn't chess wasn't the best marketing lingo to use either, though I get what he was striving for which was 'action'.
I agree here, because some people only hear what they want hear and they totally miss the point. There are a few on the official forum that have done this already. It's time this gets straightened out.

Football is not a game of chess when it comes to a single player on the field, which is what we will be each time we switch from QB to RB/WR or on defense. Those people looking for another chess match will be disappointed. Finishing the play off will be up to the position you are playing at the time.

i have to agree. when he mentioned it not being a chess match i immediately thought of the god camera view that other games provide that gives you the ability to plan your next move as a ball carrier.

i think the chess match of play calling will be there and will be more valuable than ever.

Like someone else said, would be like marketing Fifa in the UK with a American.

Or even worse an American that has a quirky habit when he speaks...

                            I agree!

I love everything I see so far, just wish the players didn't all look the same. Maybe if it's a success those other things will fall into place.

ok i been looking thru this thread and i didnt see anybody mention the flip he did or wteva he did but it looked like a flip , when the WR scored off the deep pass. When he got into da endzone looked like he did a flip . And nobody mention the fumble on the first play and how the players was going after the ball.

And one more thing why is it a big deal they celebrated. ya should be happy to see that. If they celebrate that much off a extra point. CANT WAIT TO SEE WHEN YOU GET A GAME WINNING SCORE
