Re: Backbreaker 2 Confirmed
Rockstar Games loves Euphoria. They used it in Grand Theft Auto IV and they are using it in Red Dead Redemption.Comment

Yeah I heard the app is fun and addictive. I'm not a fan of mini games in sports games, but Tackle Alley looks like a blast, especially with 2 people!Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

Re: Backbreaker 2 Confirmed
Yeah tackle alley online is going to be probably one of the best modes in the game IMO. I can kinda see people(not a lot) buying the game based on the tackle alley. I mean If they love the app. I can see people spending money on the actual game.Originally posted by WatsonTigerOne out of 7 billion, and we still tagged your ***.Comment

but if they are a small studio then i'd view it as they don't have the luxury to continue working on a game if the first game ends up not selling well. in other words, if the first one sells poorly i could still see them scrapping the idea for a second. hate to be a negative nelly but just what i think..
they would be crazy NOT to try and get a piece of this HUGE football pie that EA and 2K are trying to horde. What if BB1 is great needing only a few features added and minor tweaks for BB2?
I say its time for something new, Madden isnt worth the money anymore IMOComment

Re: Backbreaker 2 Confirmed
Youre right, IF it doesnt sell....But i think it will sell enough....Theyve made a calculated risk that depends on how well this thing sells. They have less overhead than say..EAsports.or 2Ksports so their financial projections might be lower..

Epiffani, going gold in this context has nothing to do with sales, it basically means the game is completed and copies are being made ready for retail.Comment

Re: Backbreaker 2 Confirmed
IF there is a BB2, some of the following would be must-have additions:
- injuries
- fatigue
- online and offline franchise mode enhancements
- better player models (shoulder pads that big went out back in 1977!! and even those did not have faux-abs on them!!!)
- user-defined camera angles for all gameplay modes (I am all for the experiment to get the camera on the field and give players a new perspective, but I would LOVE to see this game running from the Madden/NCAA/2K camera angle as well...or better still from my own custom created camera views depending on the play called - you know like we once upon a time had the ability to do on Madden!)
A BB2 with all (or even most) of those things AND an NFL-license in 2012 would be very good for all football gamers because it would seriously kick EA in the nuts and FORCE them to address the myriad of stagnant, stale and flat out broken aspects of their current offering...Comment
