Re: Couple of Demo vids...
WOW. The first play in that highlight video (the only one i've watched so far) is one of, if not the, single most amazing things I've ever seen in a football video game. To the jump pass, to the way the QB reacts w/ the blockers after, to the WR/DB interaction-- and then to top it all off, amazing awareness w/ the interception. So many time in other games you'd watch people watch the ball or clumsily try to grab it but not have the right animation. Simply stunning.Last edited by ZeeAyKay; 05-21-2010, 10:42 AM.Comment

Re: Couple of Demo vids...
Well - not to nitpick...
Why was the ball carrier still running forward without the ball?
He loses the ball and keeps running another 10 yards while the guy with the ball runs the other way.
It's these little play-recognition details that the Backbreaker dev team needs to tweak. Then it'll be an incredible game.
For a first time effort and a much smaller budget, this game is hands-down amazing.
I'm sure the Madden Fanboys will point out stuff like this to suggest that their game is better - so I'm just giving a heads up.Last edited by Netherscourge; 05-21-2010, 11:57 AM.Comment

Re: Couple of Demo vids...
He should have at least turned his head around and downward to see where the ball went, even if his body is still moving forward.
It's a minor detail - but it should be tweaked.Comment

Re: Couple of Demo vids...
Hey - to each his own, I guess.
I just think it looks almsot like an intentional hand-off to the defender because the ball carrier doesn't even look like he noticed that it was stripped.

Re: Couple of Demo vids...
Couple things, 1) the video is not running at real time speed. So what you see happening in the video is really only happening in micro-seconds. How is he supposed to notice and change direction so on point. 2) His momentum is carrying him past the play and flows pretty darn real to life to meComment

Re: BackBreaker Demo Videos Thread
First the QB that fumbled is user controlled. The defender knocked the ball out and he kept running because of momentum and not realizing he lost the ball. That vid is too sick to even describe ive watched it like 10 times and its still awesome. Ive been playing the game and well its just awesome.Comment
