    NFL Blitz 2001 had a play creator as well.

        I don't even want more plays per say, I would just like to see more personal sets with the formations already in the demo even if the plays were the same or similar in those sets. Would like to see the same thing on defense as well.

            My only real gripe is that I would like a 4-receiver set,other than that,I'm not really bothered.

                I don't get the big deal with the amount of plays... formations, somewhat. I bet the average Madden player users 15-25 plays on offense and 5-15 on defense.

                    That's what I'm saying.lol Hell, NFL Head Coach had it but Madden didn't. What is that? Plus you could TRANSFER the plays to Madden, but it wasn't included with Madden. BS if you ask me.

                        The problem is how are teams going to be very distinctive if they all run the same plays and formation?

                        I was planning on creating a world league with 32 teams and giving each of those teams their own distinctive play styles. Other than making a team more run or pass heavy their is really no way to do that if everybody has the same playbook.
