Re: Early Copy...
edit- hold up...playing again....had the CPU on 3rd and 15.... I called deep zone every where...and CPU threw a pick....but at least it didn't try to call a draw...lol
but since this is 2 min game, it was in the 2nd Qtr...with a min to go.....so I still can't tell if the urgency is high for the CPU because of the time....Last edited by Afrikan; 05-28-2010, 02:45 AM.Comment

Re: Early Copy...
Just a bit of information about form - from the game booklet "Form - Sets the current form of your team (from very good to very poor.) Adjust this setting to get to know your custom team through its potential ups and downs; useful practice for season mode and road to backbreaker."
Through a few more games I haven't been able to set the form for individual teams... and I believe custom form may give a random form setting for each team... checking as we speak.Comment

<div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs>So if what warriorbear said is true, 'form' is only for the player team and the CPU team form is always random. That explains at least to me why on the demo sometimes the AI plays well, and sometimes awful...<div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs>Comment

Re: Early Copy...
I just played a game vs the New England Militia, one of the top offenses. I was the Albuquerque Atoms, one of the worst defenses. The great thing about playing quarterback is you have to know what passes your quarterback can make. Deep patterns were out of the question with my quarterback. I had to dink and dunk all game long to sustain any type of drive, trying to throw any deep outs would lead to a wildly underthrown or overthrown ball, so you have to get used to your quarterback to be successful. The computer should have had a touchdown pass but the tight end dropped it. They probably would have passed more if I put up a fight. Questionable AI at the end of the 1st half, the computer let the clock run down while lined up for a field goal. This game played alot better than my first game. Final Score 22-0.

Looks like the sky is falling crowd is in full force right now...geez...
It's getting ridiculous how people are making so many judgments about the game without even playing the retail version yet...Tom Brady :" We're only going to score 17 points? ha ha ha"

Re: Early Copy...
I'll rent first, but I'm also watching the streaming as well. I'll form my own opinion after renting, at this time, not liking what I'm seeing or hearing from others with the early copies.Last edited by roadman; 05-28-2010, 09:31 AM.Comment

Re: Early Copy...
I don't see what's so ridiculous about having a negative reaction based on information from people with a retail copy. You don't need to play it yourself to see that the CPU offense throws 5 picks a game, or that we can't edit players. We've seen it confirmed in a streaming video from the final game.Comment

Re: Early Copy...
Online play will only be good if you play people you know. If anyone expects this or any other sports game to be a good experience online, then you will be saddened. Unless, you enjoy finding glitches and exploiting them. Since that is what online sports games have become, with 90% of the people you play.Comment
