    If the following was fixed in a patch...

    If the following was fixed in a patch...how would your view of the game change:

    * Roughing the punter
    * AI QB throwing into coverage
    * QB jump-throwing too often
    * Telepathic DBs
    * AI end of half/game logic
    * Penalty and ball placement errors

    These are all things that should be fairly simple to patch and all seen to be patchable things according to all the posts by Todd in the Support forum. This isn't to say there will be a patch, but there is definitely a strong possibility I think.

    If they can fix those problems, this game will be a hell of a lot better. Of course there will be those that will still complain about various little things, but if they can fix all of those I'll be very happy. And while they haven't 100% confirmed a patch, I think its safe to say they will release one if they want to salvage their rep. The game is fun, but these problems should have been obvious in the 3+ years they took developing the game.

      If a patch can make the CPU QB AI better, I won't buy another football game this year. As it stands - myself being an offline player - I can't really have fun playing a CPU QB who completes 20% of their passes with 5-8 interceptions a game.

        If they patch the CPU Offense as a whole, the game would be a lot better. Better CPU running, O-Line blocking and better QB AI would be at the top of my list. Next would be DBs with the ability to see behind them and INT the ball.

        I enjoy the game already, but it would be that much more awesome if that stuff made it into a patch.

          I agree with you on some of the things but I've only had maybe two roughing the punter calls and the AI at the end of the half/game seems pretty decent. I don't know if you have tried this or not but go to locker room and you will see game and mode. I'm not in front of the game at the moment but I know you can set form to very good, advanced play calling and set the game to hard by going to those two options, that way you won't get random form. You can set other options there as well and it improved the game for me.

          Save the settings and it will carry over to exhibition/season etc. Once I did it eliminated some of the things for me. Hope it helps.

              Not sure if it does but I know once I changed those I stopped seeing some of the things that where mentioned, just trying to help.

                Well, for the record, I've never had any roughing the punter calls either, but that doesn't mean the issue doesn't exist and need to be fixed.

                  I never said it didn't needed to be fixed. I was just throwing out somethings I did to help try and tone it down, that's all.

                    Ive had a few roughing calls as well. It seems that the punter takes way too long to get the punt off sometimes.

                      I personally feel they need to pull back and slightly raise the passing camera angle. It's just way too difficult to survey the field from that low angle. It's not even QB head level.

                        Throw in slightly better O-line play to your list, and this game easy is a 8.5.

                        The reason for slightly better o-line play is because way to many runs are stopped behind the line of scrimmage. I would rather see that turn into 1 yrd to 2 yrd runs. How often do you see a RB get stopped beind the line in a football game? In BB it happpens way to often, and the sack total is very high.

                        Then for BB2 add all the other featues that are missing, and BB2 will be a 9.5 EASY.

                        The list of features would be.

                        Team specific playbooks.(larger also)
                        Hot Routes for both offense and defense.

                        Crowd chants
                        Camera lifted slightly for QB
                        the option to assign a DB to a WR
                        Camera option. ( I personally will stay with the BB camera, but a option for others would not hurt)
                        Sending Wr's in motion.
                        Defensive and Offensive Line shifts
                        Offensive package formation shifts.
                        Manual control of swating at the ball or going for the interception.
                        Formation subs.
                        Shifting your defense around to disguise your look.
                        Sideline awareness for receivers when cathing the ball towards the sideline.
                        Penalties that are called and called correctly, and some toned down like roughing the kicker/punter.
                        Challenge plays.
                        Presentation.
                        On the animation side when juking the upper body of the player juking needs proper movement. He is to straight up when juking.
                        Add a Franchise mode.(Keep season , RTBB, and Tackle alley)
                        The ability to go for the strip on defense.

                        Im sure there is some more, but this is all I can think of at this time, and I actaul think the game would score a perfect 10 if they add this stuff
