Wow....No I wouldn't say I feel you and anyone who does hasnt been playing football video games for the past 15 or so years,either way I bought BB and it is BAREBONES..... The season mode has no character what so ever and Madden by far blows it out of the water when it comes to depth which is what all of the real gamers care about online and offline the game lacks major depth......I'm not getting into 9-15 INT's a games 20 plus sacks in 5 minutes quarters on hard....There are many more things and these aren't personnel things I want changed these are things that need to be fixed period..I'm not going to continue to beat a dead horse...

I made my donation for the first BB and as far as I'm concerned the Developers success and a BB2 is going to depend on support for this game its going to need at least 2 patches the first one needs to be a major one and they should try to have it hammered out before NCAA releases because its only going to kill sales more...The other factor being 2k sports who is already developing their next football game for when EA loses its rights to the NFL in 2012 and I can assure you without an act of god that will be the final blow for 505. The only thing this game has going for it was the engine besides that everything else seems thrown together at the last minute and anyone else who doesn't agree is just drinking the kool aid.

How exactly do you know this? If you are speculating than you should stop the rumor.

I have not heard anything about 2K football or a game to be made from them. I have over 7,000+ post on the 2K forums mostly in the football section and I have yet to hear anything about this.

While many like the 3rd person camera I can tell you it will take every game maker to make it with this camera view for it to be done.

ESPN 2K5 had 1st person football along with the regular camera angled football and there was less than 50 people who played it.

why is it that anytime someone likes a game others dont you have to be drinking kool-aid . i im 35 and have played almost every football game made . and this is something that i think will change video football games for ever. it feels live

The main reason I find it hard to enjoy other football games is that the other games collisions aren't as realistic-looking (though you do get some WWE collisions every now and again in BB) and they're jerky compared to BackBreaker. That said, I actually had a great game of two-kay-five today, so maybe it's not ALL football games that feel dead in the smoothness department compared to BackBreaker... just certain ones...

Backbreaker has its flaws as far as rules and some physics based things. Not really worried about the AI and INT "issues" as they exist in most other football games to date, but it is hard to go back to playing canned football after playing this title, it is also easier for me to make reads downfield.

Watcher, you are correct about NCAA 07, on 360. I play that game over 2010 always, madden 07 as well.

I completely understand your post, but think about how many years gamers have shelled out money for Madden, and have been disappointed, and i dont mean just the first few years. This game is just something new and different, and hopfully the developers will do the best they can to improve it.

Well said. The game really does a nice job making you feel like your playing a position on defense, and playing that role. I have never been so excited about reconzing a play and making that huge tackle or interception.

This game has life, and that is something missing from other titles.

I hear your complanints, but it just tells me that you have not yet learned how to properly play this game, because I play 10 minute qtrs and thro about 2 - 4 ints a game , and the sack total chages on how good you get your passing game going. Momentum helps build protection along with reconizing the defense and who your 1st and 2nd read should be.

What game has ever forced you to read the defense properly? If you don't in BB your done, and thats awesome!!!

I hear your complanints, but it just tells me that you have not yet learned how to properly play this game, because I play 10 minute qtrs and thro about 2 - 4 ints a game , and the sack total chages on how good you get your passing game going. I'm talking about the cpu A.I and the cpu throwing 10-15 int's a game regardless of difficulty or team.I would also like to make clear I am in now way a Madden,2k, or BB fanboy I give credit were its due and this game aside from being a graphically superior football game that's really all it has to offer.Each football game has its strengths and weaknesses my biggest thing with BB was I expected some things to be bare bones like season mode,however not as bad as it is.The cpu A.I was and is a complete blind side and needs to be fixed.

To make a statement saying you can never go back to another football game after this game only being out for 2 weeks is premature.Especially most of the guys who are drinking that kool aid are the same guys with NCAA and Madden on their cant wait to play list???

As far as another 2k football game,visual concepts was one of the original devs for Madden before it went in house, then they created 2k football.EA has 2 years left with its NFL license which will more than likely not be renewed (Legal Reasons) and if it is another bidding war, 2k has more than likely been preparing to win or share the NFL exclusivity rights with EA. Madden is the top selling sports game almost every year....Do the math.That's a huge market that 2k is missing out on for the last 5 years.Some people should spend more time reading and less time tying to get a zillion posts racked up.

I do agree. & in no way of bashing but I was completely frustrated playing other footballs games for feeling cheated and it also felt more simplistic and easier to play. A good thing is that I played a much better game than I ever have against my friend but the overall enjoyment wasn't there.
