Re: Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2019 Development Thread
Was catching up on the Johnny Manziel news and had an idea - would it be possible for awareness attributes to drop if a player makes a switch from American to Canadian football and vice versa? Maybe the "awareness" rating could increase or drop depending on the players "intangible" rating or something of the like to simulate how a player transitions to the different styles.Comment

It’s a good idea but little complicated on the backend. Might be something for us to look at for Franchise Mode.

Re: Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2019 Development Thread
Hey Spear, I agree with these other guys. The way you've been in touch with the community is stellar, and have got my purchase the day of it's release...
I have two questions, one regarding dynasty, and one pertaining to the stadium sounds/atmosphere?
1) Since you guys are currently implementing/building the new dynasty mode, I'm sure you guys have thought about the player progression element, but have you also considered a training element week to week? Such as having a staff of coaches, team facility upgrades, drills, practices, player recovery, or game planing/scouting for the next opponent? It possibly could co-relate to something like player composure, recruiting or team chemistry, as well as attributes? Just throwing out small intangibles that could really shift an outcome of a game down the line, and may help the user have a closer relationship toward building their team (for geeks like me lol).
2) If you are not able to get fight songs in the game, is it possible to be able to assign our own music/fight songs to a playlist or triggered scenario, such as first downs, touchdowns, PATs, Sacks, etc? I'm sure thats a backend thing, but I really think the emersion of college football also relies on the sounds as much as the sights. For instance, here's a link to my sounds I edited and use in my NCAA FB games:
Listen to NCAA FB Stadium Sounds | SoundCloud is an audio platform that lets you listen to what you love and share the sounds you create.
Sorry if all of this may sound like a tall order lol, just hyped to see everything you guys are accomplishing. Thanks againComment

1. We are adding a progression system in and will occur in the offseason. What you suggested reminds me of 2K5 and I think an elaborate system like that would have to go on the wishlist for now.
2. The custom soundtrack thing will also have to go on the wishlist. But we are looking at getting fictional fight songs into the game. Exploring that now after all the PMs, thanks guys!

Re: Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2019 Development Thread
Xbox One and PS4 is the target.
We found when Canadian Football 2017 was released on the PC, there was a ton of support requests. It was way too much for only one person at the company (Dave only then). Fast forward two years later and the company is two people now (me and Dave) and we have more momentum than we did back then.
There is higher demand from the general public on the consoles too. That was seen in the sales figures between Xbox One and PC of CF2017.
We've toyed with the idea of doing a PC release if it was somehow to a niche group that could be beta testers or Patreon supporters. Getting it to the hardcore audience who would be more than likely self-supporting with the game and their own rig. However, we would need to figure out how to put an IP checker in place to avoid piracy.
