This will be my primary football game purchase this year. I still may pickup the other game on the cheap around the holidays.

I Usually but madden or sports games in general every 2-3 years, NCAA was the exception, which I bought every year. If this game is fun then I will pick it up yearly.

For me it's tempting because I miss the NCAA football series. But I don't see myself being able to enjoy this. It's a football game that uses college rules but not a college football game. I need loud stadiums, intense rivalries, cheerleaders, a student section going nuts, and just the overall college atmosphere. I also want a coaching carousel.

Using fictional teams and customizing uniforms is not fun for me. I need more then that so yea I am sticking with Madden and NCAA 14 on my ps3.

I skipped madden when they tried to hype the pro bowl as a feature, and needlessly removed refs, while also seeing red flags with the gameplay, and untouched presentation. As for this game, I'm confused why the price of the game went up to $30 compared to last years, despite it's lack of polish and quality.


I know this isn't a good game, though it has some good ideas, but I can't justify a purchase at that price point. I've said for years I'd settle for a backbreaker type game without it's terrible zoomed in camera, so hopefully this series becomes that in a few years I'm guessing.
