Re: R. Gannon is unstoppable !
He had a great game.
I gotta stay conservative though.
1 good win on the road doesn't attone for that 4 game slide. -
Re: R. Gannon is unstoppable !
He's on steroids just like Barry Bonds.
JK the guys is awesome that was one heck a performance I mean he only missed 4 passes all night and he completed 20 in a row at one point. Also I was kidding about Bonds too.Comment

Re: R. Gannon is unstoppable !
If the Raiders keep playing like this they will make the SuperBowl, but their annual choke is due again sometime soon so I am not that worried. All last night proved is that Denver's Defensive coordinator Ray Rhodes is an idiot for rushing 2 guys constantly. Gannon's shirt had no grass stains on it the entire game. 34-38 is pro bowl numbers I'll admit. But what kind of defense was that piss poor excuse for NFL football??? AAAARRRGGHH!!!
Lol
BTW anyone know Shannon Sharpe's status? That was a big blow last night. If he misses any games count on the Broncos losing those games because he really is the pivot of the offense, not only catching, but as a big time run blocking TE.

Re: R. Gannon is unstoppable !
Sharpe dislocated his elbow, but it may have been partially dislocated, not complete.
Gannon is one of the most efficient QB's in the league. I am really glad that I picked him for 2 out of 3 of my fantasy f-ball leagues (and the one I didn't was a CPU picked draft).Comment

Re: R. Gannon is unstoppable !
When I first saw Sharpe's elbow bend the wrong way during the catch, I thought my eyes were fooling me. I think it's a bit more serious than they said it was...the thing was going the complete wrong direction under Romo.
I was hoping the Raiders would win that game so I could rub it in to maddenman, but when you lose your key player on offense, then on the defensive line later in the game, it's like playing handicapped. Can't really rub in something like that.
Oh well, at least the division race is tight again.Comment

It is TCrouch. I was listening to the radio broadcast with Marv and Boomer and Warren Moon reported that it's likely Sharpe will be out for the rest of the season. What's strange though, is that Melissa didn't report the same thing on television she just made mention of the injury. hmmmmm....maybe conflicting reports?"Your character is who you really are, your reputation is what you're perceived to be by others" - John Wooden(former UCLA head coach)Comment

Re: R. Gannon is unstoppable !
Well, if Sharpe is out the rest of the season, I really think the Broncos will end up 10-6 or 9-7, it really will make that much of a difference even to make the playoffs. Btw, what the hell were the Raiders O-Line on last night? I was like impossible to break it, I felt it was like playing REF or Dominator in Madden, Gannon was unreal and he changed my opinion of him, he is easiliy the best AFC QB out there right now.Comment

Yeah MaddenMan, especially Lincoln Kennedy whoa. He stood up that DEnd all game(not sure who, I think it was Pryce or Pittman).
btw I don't know MaddenMan, I still think Bledsoe is the best QB in the AFC. Gannon is close though,IMO"Your character is who you really are, your reputation is what you're perceived to be by others" - John Wooden(former UCLA head coach)Comment

Re: R. Gannon is unstoppable !
I think that Bledsoe is the best pure passer in the AFC, but I think Gannon is by far the best quarterback. His decisions, his accuracy (except for that one-hopper last night, wtf was that?!?!), and his game management exceed anybody else in my opinion. Of course, I could be biased, but I feared him in KC when he took over for oft-injured Grbac those last few years as well.
I don't think the Raiders OL is as good as they looked last night, though. Sure, they didn't get any pressure on Gannon, but when you're only rushing 2 players half the time, that cuts the possibility down...well, by half. The remaining time, they did well, but Garner and Wheatley did an amazing job chipping and cutting the blitzers. Kennedy did a wonderful job on Pryce until he was hurt in the third, but I was more impressed with the backs.Comment

Re: R. Gannon is unstoppable !
Raiders have had a really good O-line for the past two years. Maybe not the best, but surely the deepest.
The Bronco's strategy for some reason was to not rush the QB allmost at all. Many time they only rushed 2 people.
Combine all this and you get Gannon with a clean jersey till way after the game was outta reach.Comment

Re: R. Gannon is unstoppable !
No doubt, the line played very well, and I agree they have the best depth. Treu showed he is a more than capable center last season after Robbins went down, and Langston Walker has impressed me as a rookie. Throw in Stinchcomb, and you have some experiecne AND youth.Comment

Re: R. Gannon is unstoppable !
Howie, that is the best I have seen your team play this yaer. And they did it in Denver to boot. I've been telling you, I still think they are the most dangerous team in our division.

Re: R. Gannon is unstoppable !
They can be, but the D needs to step up. If the offense is on, you're right, they are pretty unstoppable. But when the D can't get off the field, (ala SD, and then SF), they struggle. I would like to see a complete game by the defense, which they are going to need. I was also glad to see Janikowski kicking accurately, especially in the thin air and the cold. I hate to use cliches, but this was a major gut check.
One thing is for sure, Callahan did a nice job in keeping the team focused and it showed Mon night. No matter what happens from here on in, no one can accuse him of being the reincarnation of Joe Bugel. To win in Denver last night was imperative, to blow them out and physically dominate the game was huge. It is by far the biggest road win in recent memory.
As we have said, I don't think there is much question that the West is the class of the Conference, if not the whole league.Comment
