Cowboys sign QB Rudy Carpenter (Az St), OT Michael Turovich (ND), FB Asaph Schwapp (ND), OG Greg Isdaner (WVU), OL Travis Bright (BYU), WR Julian Hawkins (Boise), and TE Jamar Hunt (UTEP).

I've always wondered what happened to Rudy Carpenter? He seemed like he was headed for a top 10 pick following his first year at ASU then nothing. I thought his physical tools and skill set at 18 or 19 years old would have transitioned to future franchise QB. I will be interested in watching him try to make the boys.

He probably saw how quickly we burned through QB's last year so he probably figures he'll be starting by the end of the year ........
