    Old School AFL choice:

Daryl "The Mad Bomber" Lamonica to Warren Wells...

Wells AVERAGED over 23.0 yards per catch for the entirety of his career...very exciting, wide open vertical style...

Don't know my favorite but I really would've liked to see McNabb/TO a bit longer. That first season was insane... also considering the events that led to TO going to Philly, the lack of a #1 WR there for so long and how well everything just fit together starting from the stop and go on the first play.

Nothing wrong with that since the title of the thread asks for YOUR favorite.

Yea...it was a sight to behold in it's short shelf-life. Oh the possibilities...

I'm gonna go with Kordell - Thigpen

Just kidding. For me it's Montana to Rice, although Montana to Taylor was no slouch either. IMHO John Taylor is the most under-rated WR in NFL history.

Aikman/Irvin would be my choice for real life, Montana/Rice would be my choice in video game history (close second is Brady/Moss).

Montana to Rice or Taylor was magic but now seeing Brady to Moss or Welker has that same fell. That equals 1A & 1B.
Relax, it's just a video game!

The best touchdown tandem ever 85 td's! Young-Rice would be my pick.

PFR shows 86 for Young/Rice. Out of curiosity, I tried to make a list of most prolific combos. I *think* it's complete down to 40:

                            112 Manning/Harrison
                            86 Young/Rice
                            79 Marino/Clayton
                            65 Kelly/Reed
                            63 Unitas/Berry
                            57 Favre/Freeman
                            57 Graham/Lavelli
                            56 Hadl/Alworth
                            55 Montana/Rice
                            55 Marino/Duper
                            53 Jurgensen/Taylor
                            53 Culpepper/Moss
                            52 Manning/Wayne
                            51 Anderson/Curtis
                            50 Garcia/Owens
                            49 Ryan/Collins
                            49 Aikman/Irvin
                            49 Bradshaw/Swann
                            48 Jaworski/Carmichael
                            48 Lomax/Green
                            47 Blake/Pickens
                            46 Hadl/Garrison
                            46 Krieg/Largent
                            46 Bulger/Holt
                            46 Dawson/Taylor
                            45 Bledsoe/Coates
                            44 Bradshaw/Stallworth
                            44 Stabler/Branch
                            44 Brunell/Smith
                            43 Moon/Hill
                            43 Unitas/Moore
                            43 Dawson/Buford
                            43 Zorn/Largent
                            42 Blanda/Hennigan
                            42 Namath/Maynard
                            41 Elway/Sharpe
                            41 Favre/Sharpe
                            41 Montana/Clarke
                            41 Fouts/Winslow
                            41 Tittle/Wilson
                            41 Lamonica/Biletnikoff
                            41 Albert/Beals

Perhaps the most surprising thing is who is NOT on there. Tarkenton threw 342 TDs in the regular season (3rd behind Favre and Marino) but not more than 25 to any particular player.

Marino and Manning are the only two with 50+ to two different players. Rice is the only guy to have caught 50+ from two different players.

Brady and Moss only played a season together. My favorite will always be Rice/Montana. Lets face it the best with the best.

Moss is a great receiver, Manning would do a better job with him. Toms over rated in my view. If Tom doesnt hvae another record year this season Ill be suprised. Never seen receivers get open like the Patriots.

Manning and Harrison have over 115. Young-Rice are not the best TD tandem anymore. Manning and Harrison are also the only tandem to go over 10k yards together. Pretty impressive.
