Of course he will. And if Jake throws 5 picks next week, he'll be the starter again in week 3. There's nothing Delhomme can do to lose his job.

Carolina really needs to get more targets involved in the passing game. 3 picks @ least have come from trying to get the ball to Steve Smith. Philly hasn't respected anyone else in white.
I agree with u totally, The fact that Fox put so much emphasis on the running game he forgets about the passing game! I mean when u are down by 20 something points at half time, u need to play Fastbreak football on offense! Have the receivers do slants, hitches, screens, crosses, etc. Have the rbs do more screens, flats, and outs. Have the TEs do more block and release 5 and outs or 5 and ins! If the Panthers Spread the passing game and give (Panicky) Jake some safety valves it will releive pressure from the blitzes on him and he can now focus on the running game and his primary receivers to move the chains for first downs! So all in all Fox need to get with today's NFL and dont be afraid of passing, cuz Defenses know u like to run the hell out of the football, so why not have mutiple formations, mix the run with pass, pass under the aggressive D more = slants, curls, Qb roll-outs, screens, rbs in flats, and use the TEs more! Until these mention above happens We r lookin at 4-12 for this 09-10 NFL season! at least! We can't win beating ourselves and giving the games away! Something must be done to get our Swagger back! Panther4life! P.S. we got too much talent on the squad to be losing like we r doing right now!!

although coming from the dude who said Marion Barber was a more exciting runner than LT, I'm not surprised...

Are people calling for T. Jackson to come play for Carolina? What? I could see him as being an upgrade to what Delhomme has shown, but that's not saying much considering I could be an upgrade to how Delhomme has played recently. I think Jackson could pan out to be an alright QB, but he's not someone I'd be calling on to come rescue a team that's otherwise pretty well built. I'd take Jeff Garcia over him in a heartbeat.

Vick can't play until Week 3, for those who really want McNabb to be injured (for some bizarre, sick reason). I can see why you would want to see Vick play as he's exciting, but he's not going to be more successful then McNabb if he's starting. He's going to have the majority of his success as a situational, X-factor player. There's a reason he's the #3 QB behind #2 QB Kevin Kolb.

Anyone is a upgrade over Jake Delhomme, He is the worst QUARTERBACK period in the NFL. Starter, 2nd string 3rd string, Practice Squad ect.. I can't wait till John Fox and Jake Delhomme are gone, hopefully it's this year.

Especially given the idiotic extension & $20mil signing bonus mgt. gave him. Carolina is good when they rely on the running game - when they ask Jake to do more than manage the game and not TO the ball: we lose.

Now that I've seen more replays, I think the Eagles may have done it because they felt Carolina got away w/a late hit on McNabb's injury. I think they really wanted to rub it in. & if my QB got hurt on a late hit, I'd want to rub it in too.

Of course, as long as #17 is in the game, the NFL can serve up as many late hits as they want as far as I'm concerned. Flying elbow off the top rope if you can get away w/it.

That's why Jerry Richardson should step in. The man is @ death's door. Isn't a Lombardi Trophy on his bucket list?

If Jackson can keep from giving the ball away, he'll be 10x's better than MisJake. Eleven, 11!!!!! frikkin' turnovers in less than 2 games. No one in the NFL has been this charitable since Adam Jones made it rain in Vegas.

I haven't listened to WFNZ in a while, since my man Gary Williams left the Morning Sports Page, but it might be worth a listen to hear everyone calling for Jake's head. I might even tolerate PrimeTime for awhile to hear it too.

Well you know what they say about performances like that:

1 game like this, it's bad luck or a bad day.
                            2 games like this, it's a trend.
                            3 games like this, it's a problem.
