Well, two of the main issues the Cowboys have had have been protecting the football and their defense not being stiff enough. Well, turnovers kept the Giants in it and the soft defense helped finish the job.

Disappointing loss, especially because the same problems the Cowboys have had for the last few years were what lost them the game today. The may have proven they can score without T.O., but they look like the same, undisciplined team they were with him.

Good job by Eli, the Giants O-Line, and their battered pass defense, who really stepped up. I really feel this was more the Cowboys beating themselves than anything, but the Giants deserve credit for being the more sound football team tonight.

Jason Garrett needs to be fired. Romo didnt have it tonight and he doenst have the balls to pull the reigns back on his highschool offense...

Dallas could have Ran 100% of the time the Giants could not stop it..
His offense is as queer and liberace...Just a disgrace of a Game.. Good game Giants you were beat up and played your hearts out.. Something my team does not HAVE!!!!

Big win for my Giants.

Couple of things:

The Giants run defense is not this bad. But when you are missing

Ross
Canty
Tuck (most of the game)
Dockery
Boley is playing for the first time since last year

This giants defense is not intact and they were gashed by a superb run team because they have great backs and huge o-line

but the giants pass game is getting better and the run game will be better once Danny Ware gets in the mix

Big win and proud of Eli and the way he disected the defense

Giants can move the ball with ease but need to hit paydirt

Cowgirls suck! My boy took a 2 hour flight and spent at least a grand to see his team lose. I also won $50. Awesome. Thank you, Giants.

The better team won. And I don't want to hear about all these turnovers and what not. At the end of the day, the Giants won and they deserve it. We can sit here and dissect every game that has ever been played and say "well only if this didn't happen" but it really doesn't matter. Giants-33 Cowboys-31...THAT'S what matters.

Looks like the Boys played just like they did all last year. Couldn't stop the pass and Romo chokes in big games.

Grats to the Giants. They almost messed around and let the Boys win but when they needed Eli to take them down field he did.

If this season plays out like I'm thinking it will, it will be way past time to fire Wade and start looking for a new hardass coach that will beat the living crap out of Romo.

The Giants did not have the run game tonight because the Cowboys were running run blitzes and were selling out to stop the run and covering our receivers one on one.

But Eli beat the snot out of you team because we have a great o-line which protected him and our young receivers ran all over your secondary.

even with that the giants still had as a team about 100 yards or more

the cowboys ran on us because we were missing 4 starters on defense and the cowboys ran towards TUcks replacement Tolleson.

blame the cowboys weak pass rush and weak secondary along with Romo

I hate to say this. but i might have to agree with this. Ithink Jason is trying to accomplish something for him and Romo. I dont know what it is but its not for the good of this football team. We were suppose to have ran the football down there throats.... all night long. I also blame Wade for not going to Jason and telling him to stop the maddness. Horrible lost. Being that am a Cowboy's fan living here in NYC. I now have to go to work and here how great the Giants are. It just sickins me.

If Romo isn't on, Dallas can't win. As badly as he played tonight (and he was awful), the fact remains that the Boys had the lead with 3 1/2 minutes to go. The game was placed in the hands of the defense, and as they have so many times in the last 4-5 years, they failed.

The defense, despite being loaded with high draft picks, simply does not make plays.

Man what a great game. I think the most telling thing is that niether QB got sacked once the entire game. For the most part both QB's got time to stand in the pocket and make throws, Eli just did a much better job of completing the throws than romo. We definitly got some bounces go our way, but I also think that dallas made more mistakes than the g-men and we were able to capitalize on it.

Spoiling the opening was great and all, but 2 big time wins against division oppenents to start the year is where its at.
