      Did you watch the game?

"Had Darren broke through"??? You mean like all the success they had in the running game earlier?

Michael Bennett had a few decent runs early and then he never really saw the field again. If you are going to line up in a jumbo set and try to run right into the strength of your opposition, then at least put a big back in there that averaged better than Sproles' 2.6 YPC.

The Ravens starting safety was out of the game. The Chargers WR's were getting a lot of one on one coverage against the smaller Ravens CB's and Rivers was throwing the ball on point all game.

Spread your receivers out and run Sproles underneath the LB's insteand of a predictable play action and running into the teeth of their defense.

And watching the Jets hold the vaunted NE offense to 9 points really shows how great Ryan is. Second best in the league. As much as I hate to do so, I gotta give Lebeau his props as number 1.
But damn, I really miss Rex right now.

Im so glad we got rid of Norvell. True, none of our other coaches have been any better in recent years but this man has a track record of suckdom.

I said last year that the Chargers will win the division IN SPITE of Norv. Probably the same this year. The Charger players are too talented to let that clown bring them down.

                    Well thanks for elaborating.

The Ravens are better coached, better disiplined, have better depth along the offensive and defensive lines as well as at the LB position.

So yes, the Ravens are the better team.

A lot of guys will look like a good playcaller when the plays are run by 3 hall of famers.

You would have to look long and hard to find anyone that was pleased with the hiring of norv by the chargers.

Too many props to Ryan. It reminds me of when Buddy got way to much credit for the killer Bear defenses of the 80's. The fact is that Rivers carved up a Raven defense two years ago and Baltimore lost. Also lost is the fact that San Diego was inside the 20 five times and did not come away with a TD. I'll take the win, although I wish our corners were bigger.

Quick question for you. How many playoff wins and how many AFCCG have the Raiders played in since he was fired? How many coaches have had to deal with the injury issues the Chargers have had the past few years and still give their team a chance to win in January?

It's amazing, when the Chargers win it's in spite of their coach but when they lose it's all on him.

I don't like Norv but I wouldn't put this loss on him, the Ravens blitzed down the center where Hardwick usually is and ran up the middle where Jamal usually is. We outplayed them everywhere else, good game overall.

Excellent game. Pass defense is obviously a concern, but a win is a win.
