Sounds good to me for the Browns.Hopefully it will play out like that tomorrow night. If Berry is not there I hope they can trade down.

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
Latest Browns draft rumor is that they love Berry and will take him if he is @ 7. If not, they will want to trade down. If they are forced to pick, they are down to either Thomas or Spiller and Spiller has the slight advantage ATM.
Honestly, I do not see how they could screw up if they take any of those guys or trade down.
Being high enough in the draft that other teams will want to trade up for their pick if they can't get who they (the Browns) want is a beautiful place to be.Comment

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
I really hope McCoy pans out, because I can't help but feel Suh is going to be great and McCoy could end up being a bust, but looking back at the past few drafts, Tampa's done a pretty decent job for the most part with their 1st round picks.

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
I cant help getting something out of my head that was mentioned by Skip this morning. Which makes me think Bradford will be a huge mistake at number 1 overall. The last imagine I have of Bradford is of him struggling against BYU. This is before the injury that same game. What Bradford has shown so far is he cant handle pressure. I would never invest a 1st overall pick into a guy who is injury prone ans who isnt battle tested. Especially when you can get guys like Lafevour and Snead at little to no risk.
Reguardless of whether or not Bradford becomes a star or not taking him 1st overall is a bad gamble. Bradford is clearly the best QB from a measurable stand point, but QB is the one position where measurables means the least.Last edited by da ThRONe; 04-22-2010, 10:58 AM.You looking at the Chair MAN!

Agreed. Which is why I'm still a little worried the Rams might come to their senses and take Suh #1, McCoy would go #2 and Bucs fans everywhere would cry, although I think we could trade down and get Eric Berry a spot or 2 lower than that. But yeah, I definitely would NOT be taking Bradford #1. I don't even think he's the best QB in the draft.Rice Owls - Houston Astros/Dynamo/Rockets/Texans - Arsenal - PSGComment

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
So the Rams have nothing to feel bad about YET. Ryan regress last year as expected when defensives get a year of film on you. Flacco has shown flashes but hasnt put it together yet. And Sanchez started out great fell off so much so Rex conceded this season early and then he looked way better in the playoffs. So the jury is still out.You looking at the Chair MAN!
