The Lions need a CB like humans need oxygen...unless the sudden injury concerns are serious (and I guess maybe they are, since everybody's passing on him), the Lions should swipe him up at 34.

I don't think the Broncos gave up much at all for Tebow.

They basically gave up a third rounder to move up 20 spots in the draft since 5 spots in the fourth round is pretty negligible.

The jury is still out there on whether he'll be any good, but trade wise they paid roughly market value for the pick.

I actually agree about the picks. While I think it's far too high for Denver to pick Tebow, what they gave up to pick in that spot wasn't unreasonable at all.

We put zero pressure on QBs last year, so passing on Kindle and Hughes and potentially seeing them go to the competition is making me grind my teeth.

Is McCourtey THAT good on special teams??

I'm really mixed on this pick. We needed linebacker help so badly, and even Odrick would have been a big help.

McCourty blocked 7 kicks in the last 2 years, and is the best tackling CB in the draft.

Denver going to be a wildcat team this year. That is the only way Tebow will succeed.

It'll also be a different wrinkle to the Wildcat in the NFL as defenses will have to be aware of the passing option. It's what Miami added to their Wildcat last year and it worked ok. The thing is, McDaniels can't treat it as a gimmick because Miami is the only team that's used it effectively and it's an integral part of their offensive scheme. Other teams that have tried to use the Wildcat have had varying degrees of success because they don't take it THAT seriously as an offensive weapon.
