hey man i never said that and i beleive tony g is the best TE in the league right now floyd sure he put up decent receiving numbers even though he had 1 td all season and as far as Naanee goes ill have to see him play more before i say he is a scrub. i agree with you that matthews will be an impact factor for them but at the moment he is the only offesive threat i see on that team right now besides gates until jackson agrees on a deal and finishes his suspension.

Numbers aside, there are many inside the team that believe that Floyd will be a better player than Jackson, which is why they put the tender on Floyd they did. Floyd's maturing and emergence is why they had zero problems releasing Chris Chambers as he had lost his job to Floyd and was losing playing time to Naanee as well.
Naanee, potentially could be the best of the bunch, he simply makes plays but hasn't been given the opportunities. Ask people in the know about him, he's plenty talented and he's the big reason why the Chargers are in no rush to give in to Jackson, and why Jackson probably won't be a Charger after this year.Comment

Use punctuation marks. Its helps.
2nd.
I have no problem saying the Chiefs are going to be improved this year. Along with the Raiders I think in 1-2 more years they are going to give the Chargers a run at the AFC west.
3rd.
I believe the Broncos are going to be last in the division, which should help give you guys confidence going into next season.Charger Fan Born and Raised!

I just feel adding a bunch of 30+ year olds on your d line doesnt really help the pourous (sp?) defense that showed itself near the end of last season.Charger Fan Born and Raised!

The Chiefs big move was adding Thomas Jones. The Raiders was Jason Campbell. Not super impressive either.Comment

Re: who will win the AFC west!
It's still San Diego's division by default but if things fall right for Denver they can challenge. it'll be interesting to see how McDaniels handles the QB situation as it seems towards the end of the season that he wasn't impressed with what he had. I don't know if thrusting Tebow out there and more then likely using a modified spread offense is going to help but it should be interesting nonetheless.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Vincent Jackson won't be missed. He might've been a great deep threat for the Chargers, but it's not like we're missing Antonio Gates, Legedu Naanee, or Malcolm Floyd here.Comment

Re: who will win the AFC west!
I think he will be missed but, not so much it's going to keep this offense from moving up and down the field at will. There are just to many other play makers but, I'm more worried about Marcus.Originally posted by WatsonTigerOne out of 7 billion, and we still tagged your ***.Comment

Re: who will win the AFC west!
I hate the Chargers, but I think they will win the west again.
Raiders are improving, but I cant see them winning the west just yet.
As for the Broncos I have no clue whats going to happen. I would love to see them win the West but just dont see that happening.
The Chiefs I still think are a few years away from being a good team.Texas A&M Aggies

Re: who will win the AFC west!
Going into the season it's the Chargers' division to lose, IMO.
I do think that the Broncos (more likely) and the Raiders (less likely, but not outside the realm of possibility) could make things interesting.
I don't give the Chiefs much of a shot at all, really.Comment

Agree with that 100%. I do not believe the Chargers are that good of a team, I just think the West is going to be weak this year and by default Chargers will take it.Texas A&M Aggies

Re: who will win the AFC west!
Broncos start the season of GREAT, while the chargers are just trying to catch up and at some point below .500. The broncos are finding ways to win, the offense is clicking, the defense is playing great. The chargers just seem like they're out of rhythm, and can't get a good win streak. During the Broncos' early success i'm thinking "maybe we're gonna beat out San Diego this year! Just maybe!". Now somewhere around week 8, Kyle Orton will decide to turn the ball over 4 times a game and the defense will start playing crappy. On the flip side, the Chargers are finally playing good, and Philip Rivers is starting to play great, and they will finish the season with a bunch of momentum. In that time period, the Raiders and Chiefs will most likely play like well, the Raiders and Chiefs.
San Diego is about the same from last year, Ryan Matthews is poised for a good year and Philip Rivers is in his prime. They should beat out denver.
Denver should at least win 10 games(or go 8-8 again), and be a Wildcard. Good draft, 2nd year of a new offense, Knoshown Moreno should do better. Defense is improved somewhat. Only "downgrade" was trading Brandon Marshall, but they got Demaryius Thomas, and he could be Brandon Marshall 2.0. He even looks like his little brother.
KC finishes around 6-10
Oakland might improve, might not. Probably will do a little bit better than KC.
Y'know, same old AFC West. I'm hoping the Broncos can win the division, but then again i've been hoping since 2006.Comment

Re: who will win the AFC west!
Chargers hands down. Broncos and raiders will battle for 2nd, chiefs will be last.
YOu got to remember that this so called "Flowers, berry combo" is not gunna be instant. It takes a couple of seasons to transfer to the nfl as a saftey, thats one of the harder conversions. They did add thomas jones, mccluster, but I dont think thats enough.
The Chargers already had a great team and I dont see how the chiefs, the mighty under 500 team will beat the chargers.
The raiders have had the best off season, imo for the past 5 years. I mean they added a qb, dt, mlb. I think with a healthy mcfadden, a decent oline, an alright qb, a fairly good deffence, the raiders will be 8-8. However lets hope their 0-16 because the patriots have their first round pick.Comment
