Re: Best Wide Reciever for 2010-2011 Season

The Johnsons and Brandon Marshall will have huge seasons imo. Crabtree will enter the top 10 and Owens and Ochocinco will have great seasons lined up next to one another.

Put my fourth option down -Wes Welker-. He aveage 9.8 catches a game. Had he played the whole 16 games, he could have caught more than 140 passes!

Welker is not even the best wide receiver on his own team.

i'm surprised not more people are picking jennings.. when you factor in who's throwing the ball to him and the offensive style...

I watched him alot last year and I can safely say this is not true. Welker is impossible to guard to guard his unbelievable route running.Aside from that he might have the best hands in the whole NFL. He almost never drops it.His run after catch is very underrated; gets by defenders at will with Punt returner mentality.

Ima side with the Boston fan on this one. Welker isn't on these WRs level imo he just doesn't get covered by any good CBs because they put 2 or 3 on Moss. Edelman didn't seem to have any problems producing Welker like numbers in Welkers place.

I'll go with Johnson and Fitzgerald.

Yes Welker is good but he lives off the double teams Randy Moss commands.

Don't forget that 2 years ago, Moss broke the single season TD receptions record and is a 1st ballot Hall of Famer. Can't say the same about Welker.

Andre Johnson. He has been the best the last few years in my opinion. He doesn't get that much national exposure because he plays for the Texans but he is a BEAST. If he was on a better team like the Steelers, Cowboys, Saints, Patriots, etc., he would be talked about as one of the best ever.

Just look at the patriots with welker and without welker (playoff game vs ravens)

Yes, Welker was the entire reason they lost to the Ravens....

The Pats just got outplayed in that game. Even if Welker was healthy it wouldn't have made a difference in the final outcome.
