It has to do with a lot of Dolphin fans that live in the area.
They are morons for showing the Fins instead of the Jags, tons of Gator fans around here, thankfully I'll be attending the game.

Thanks for helping the Jags not black out their opener.

They already have 5 games not blacked out, 3 left late in the year against bad teams. Those should be sold out if the Jags win early.

Oh, I thought the only one for sure was the Broncos game.

Its because its the Seahawks in it. Fox doesnt want to waste a good announcing team on a game that only half of the teams fans will watch.

As a former J-ville resident, might I ask how many seats had to be covered up to avoid said blackouts?I think it's an embarrassment for an NFL team to have to cover seats to get "sell-outs"

None, the "covered" seats are a permanent thing, the market can't support a 80,000 seat stadium. Most of the teams can't support 80,000 seats. The Jags are around 65,000 now which is about average for NFL teams.

Isn't Spero Dedes the guy that does the Laker Games?

Anyway, not exactly a "pretty looking" slate of games on Fox next week as far as matchups go.

I just compared the Colts and Dolphins schedule(since I live in S. Florida I get the Dolphins every Sunday on CBS). It stacks up damn near perfectly. They only play at the same time 4 times this year and 1 game has already happened, so 3 the rest of the season and they're on week 10, 15, and 17. I could potentially see 10, maybe more, Colts games this year including the 5 they play on National TV. Not that I couldn't see them anyways, but TV > JTV stream.

                              EDIT: MIA/MIN - JAX/SD - TB/CAR

First two aren't bad, last one I probably won't watch.

Are you old enough to go to a bar? If not, is there a Buffalo Wild Wings near you? Surely, there must be somewhere you can watch the games that aren't on local TV. I tried the Internet thing with the Bears and it just turns in to a giant cluster**** trying to get a stream that actually works.

Ugh, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman for Bears-Cowboys. Time for a Cowboys slobber-fest. SMH.
