People i personally like what Lovie does but quite frankly people dont think the same and just keep putting the balme on Lovie.
Lovie's a terrible coach. He proves it on a weekly basis.

Ron Rivera led the Super Bowl team more than Lovie did.

His decision to not kick the go ahead FG at the end of the Lions game is Lovie in a nutshell. Gameday clueless. I think he has the worst percentage on challenges in NFL history. He seriously looks lost most of the time on the sidelines. He can't develop talent as high round draft picks that even analyst's love end up being cut in 2-3 years. I can't wait for him to be fired at the end of the year.

          It's starting already.

I would be shocked if Chicago put up 10 points in this game.

Dallas by plenty in this one. Cutler to stink it up.

I`ve been a Bears fan for 41 years. Lovie Smith is the biggest joke of a coach the Bears have ever had. GM Jerry Angelo is just as bad. We need a coach with the Bears mentality and fire...if it were up to me Lovie the Loser would be gone today as well as Angelo. I would hire John Gruden in a heartbeat because he is what the Bears need for that fire and enthusiasm. He took the Bucs to the Super Bowl and won. Lovie the Loser takes the Bears to the Super Bowl and they choke. I can`t wait for both of them to get their walking papers ASAP.

Are you serious? Like someone else said, Devin's success is NOT the bears main outlet, I would NOT be shocked if YOU didn't know that the bears RB Matt Forte had 201 All purpose yards last game. that tells you right there that the bears sole production is just from Devin Hester, But all the other guys in the Huddle ... there is a Johnny Knox, Devin Aroumashdu, Matt Forte, Chester Taylor, and Jay Cutler in there offense also.

Are you kidding me? Yes, I agree Lovie is not that good of a coach BUT he's not the biggest joke the Bears have had. Try Dave Wanstead for that title.

I think the Cowboys (and I hope!) take this one. They had a few opportunities to win last game, yet they didn't capitalize (Redskins botching that FG was a call from the heavens!). I don't know what's up with the Bears, so I can't really say much. I just want Dallas to pull out a damn win!

I'm more shocked than you that Forte would put up 200 all purpose yards, given how useless he was last year.

I wasn't posting that as if I agreed with it, it was just a conversation starter.

I think most people have recognized at this point that Hester is irrelevant.

Lovie Smith could not motivate a bowel movement. He has changed players from their normal position to other positions that are not in the best interest of the Bears. They have taken Devin Hester and tried to make him a receiver instead of using him as a returner. They have switched offensive lineman around like a chinese fire drill. He doesn`t have a clue, just look at his face during games. Yes, I would take Dave any day over this clown. He at least showed emotion and passion for the game.

The Bears "downfall" is a combination of the front office and Lovie. Ever since "Rex is our QB" happened, I've questioned Lovie's IQ. Because their D was at its peak there. Then you have Cedric Benson drafted, and he shows poor work ethic, his teammates hate him, yet you trade Thomas Jones instead (when he was in his prime, even) for a second round pick that you do nothing with. Jones goes on to have career years in NY. Then they eventually just release Benson anyways, whom they kept over Jones. And he goes on to have a monster year in Cinci (I think it was a fluke, personally, and that massive amount of carries already caught up to him). Then they ignore their horribly aging defense and non-existent offensive line for a few years to draft Forte, and a pass catching TE in Olsen. Then trade their top picks for Jay Cutler and Gaines Adams. His death was really sad and everything, but I still found it humorous that a team that was in the midst of a number of bad trades/draft choices, then goes to trade to a guy who literally dies on them.

Through all of this, the Bears lost their identity. I don't know what they are now. They're not a defensive team. They're not a running team. They're kind of a passing team, yet they have no WR's. The Cutler trade could honestly have set their franchise back for a long time if he doesn't get really good before the end of this season. They need to cut back on the trades, and start rebuilding some depth on defense, or get a stud offensive lineman very soon.
