      0-2 Cowboys

If Jerry Jones wants to save his possible SB wet dream season, get Wade Phillips out of here. I always told my Cowboys friend from work that they'll never win the big game as long as he's coach

More than anything it seems like this bears team is playing with a lot of passion and intensity. Who says lovie cant inspire a team?

          Typical Cowboys.

Talented team that is hideously coached.

The team is totally devoid of leadership, and they have no intangibles.

it's almost like the Bears of the preseason was a bunch of pretenders. The offense is looking pretty good over there.

            As for Dallas....I smell CONTROVERSY~!

Wade better look behind his back from here on out.

I'll give them credit. I'm just saying, Dallas is WAY more talented than Chicago. They shouldn't of lost that game, certainly not at home.

Re: Week 2: Bears @ Cowboys

All week all I heard was how the Cowboys were gonna kick our ***, and this is what we get? Dallas looks like crap. The window is CLOSING.

I loved watching these clowns celebrate their first downs as they were losing. I was hoping after the Roy Williams fumble that Urlacher would've picked up the ball and made a first down signal for old Roy.

I was impressed with the Bears hitting out there and Cutler hanging in tough on a torrid pass rush. I'm glad they made them pay for the excessive blitzing.

Too early to get too excited as I don't think Dallas is really all that great. Next week will be the real test. That's a game the Bears win if they really want to be good this year. I don't know if we can do it though.

First and Foremost, congrats to the Bears and their fans..
last week too many Cowboys fans came in here complaining..

You guys flat out beat us.. Our D tightened up in the second
half.. But you, beat us fair and square...

I still think the Cowboys D is good.. They had some really good
Hot reads early in the game..Which Hurt us and got us behind the
                    8 ball...

Garrett has got to go.. His scheme is so predictable.. Chicagos
                    LBs knew every run audible...

You can have all the skills players you want, but false starts at home? unacceptable..

He wasn't the entire problem, surely, but I still want Roy Williams gone.

I honestly can't point my finger at one area where we lost this game. The Bears simply beat us.

                            Sigh.

Though I completely disagree with your second statement - we have plenty of young, talented, and promising skill players (almost every notable skill player on offense and defense is on the right side of 30) - but we certainly aren't as good as we thought we were coming into this season and your former statement as to how we looked today is spot-on.

Whoever said Super Bowl for this team needs to step back and reevaluate, because we look like we'll struggle to .500 the way we're playing right now.

Dallas wins if they stick to their strength, which is running to set up the pass. Garrett seems to think otherwise, but then again, his offense has underperformed under his leadership for 2 straight years.

Chicago wins if Garrett calls the same game he has been calling for so long.

In other words, I don't see it as an upset if Chicago wins. Not at all.
figured this is what would happen....

The moment his team gets behind, Garrett begins play-calling like the game is about to end. How many 3rd and longs does this team face because of incompletions or stupid "screens" on 1st and 2nd down?

There is no room in his offense for the running game to succeed. Sure, the number from today don't look that great, but a successful ground game requires some commitment and will fatigue the opponent.

As soon as Garrett leaves the pass-first mentality, Dallas will have some success. Jones has to have more than 8 touches, and the three RBs together can and will wear down defenses. When the Defense is forced to respect the run, then they can take advantage of Austin and Bryant downfield and Witten over the middle.

As it is now, there is too much pressure on Romo to win the games, and he just isn't consistent enough in his accuracy, nor in his relationships with his wideouts. How many times do we see him throw the ball to NO ONE because he and so-n-so were not "on the same page"? Romo is a fine quarterback, but why not try to stack things in his favor, rather than counting on him to be elite? He is not elite, he is above average. He is good enough to win, but even Aikman, one of the best of his generation, wasn't asked to win things on his own.

Good grief, Garret, figure it our already, you clown.
