Seems this thread is turning into just picking which teams to call bad and then naming players on them?
Torain has shown flashes of a very good player. That is why I said it was debatable. I personally think he is a good RB, but just hasn't really been given the chance to show it behind a solid line.

And Orakpo was on a good defense his rookie year, but watching him you can tell he is a great player. One of, if not the best defensive player on the Redskins and that includes Fletcher.

Torain had chances in Denver and then again in Washington. He's not the first player many thought was good that couldn't stay healthy. I don't think he's done anything to deserve any more recognition than any of the others. Until he shows it on the field he's one of hundreds of players that many thought had potential but it hasn't been lived up to. His name just doesn't fit in this thread.

Orakpo will be a great player and generally speaking, his name does fit here. My point with him is similar to my point with Berry. He's only been in the league for 2 years and half his years have been on a top 5 defense. I'd just like to see more years of similar results before saying "good player on a bad team" as right now, it's only speculation that his production won't lift the team to a higher level as it has for half of his pro career to this point.

There's that guy. He's on the cover of Madden or something. What's his name? Peyton Hillis?

Year 2 - 14-2 Lost in AFC Championship

this really could depend on what you consider a bad team because that really depends.
Dolphins, Chargers and Rams aren't bad teams.

I'd put the Dolphins/Rams in the "Up and coming" type teams. Don't think I'd call either good teams, or bad teams...they're just kinda in the middle.

Dolphins are in the stagnant category, or stale, or **** Chad Henne, any work.

Yeah, up-and-coming doesn't work for them now that I think about it. More like "Change it now or they're going to start sucking even more."

I think the Rams also fit in any sense when talking about SJax since he's been with them so long when they were definitely considered bad.

The Rams are a bad team. They haven't made the playoffs in years, however they could be about to become a good team

Neither of these guys are even close to being good players right now. I'm holding out hope that Crabs will develop, but I don't think Massquoi will ever be anything more than average.
