Your hopes are correct. I detest the Lakers/Cowboys. I can take or leave the Falcons though mainly because of Matty Ice.

I dont get why whether Vick is genuine or not matters. He is back as one of the top faces of his league and is being treated as such. Deal with it.

I just notice alot of posters taking this news as an opportunity to bash and **** on Vick some more. It just gets tired. He got a Nike deal, do we need to re-state how much we despise and hate him some more?

I agree and I'm definitely not suprised at who's doing it. But to each is own I guess. I'm just happy Vick is getting his life back on track. Good for him.

No problem with this. Congrats to Mike Vick, congrats to Nike. You made the right decision in terminating his (Vick's) contract, you made the right decision in resiging Vick who has paid his debt and withit gone on to be a better player and person (by all reports) at the same time.

To those sitting in their Ivory Towers, enjoy the show. I'd love to be perfect like you lot but alas, I will chill with the mere mortals down here who can give credit where credit is due.

No, I just think why should I? He had all the talent and $$ he ever needed before he went to Jail and blew it all away, i'm not gonna give any man his due when he had the world in his but was idiotic enough to ruin it all. There are hundreds of NFL players who do great things all the time who don't even have to and those are the guys that should be given credit in the news not guys like Vick.

It's not that i'm against 2nd chances, cause i'm not. I'm all for Donte Stallworth and what he's done, he openly went to jail for a year when he could have easily went to court and either got off or cut some time because he didn't want to put the victims family through that situation.

Why does it bother you that he had "all the talent and $$ he ever needed before he went to jail and blew it all away"? What concern is that of yours. How do you know he blew it all? How much did he have? Why are "fans" so concerned with the dollars he lost. Vick doesn't appear to be. He seems to be now a content man knowing he has a second chance in the NFL and won't take it for granted again. Vick has come back and is actually a better QB than he was prior to going to jail. The monetary reward, not that it is our concern, comes with that. See Nike contract.

You contradicted yourself openly with Stallworth example so I will leave it at that.

It has nothing to do with money. It's what he did that caused him to blow everything he had that bothers people and I don't see how you can blame them. What he did is indefensible. Some people refuse to forgive him for that. They have every right to and aren't wrong in doing that.
