I'll honestly be more shocked if the Falcons make the Super Bowl than if they miss the playoffs lol, but apparently I'm pretty much alone in that.

Yup, I predict they'll finish 3rd behind NO and Tampa. I'm not buying into what Roddy White is saying about their offense, sure they added Julio but that's their only 2 WRs. Tony is getting old and Turner is gonna start to slow down a bit I believe. Not to mention I see no improvement in their secondary.

And more importantly, you look at their schedule, and to me, it looks much tougher than the Bucs and Saints (though they both have hard schedules as well), but I honestly expect the Falcons to top out around 8 wins this year, and expect the Bucs to fall in somewhere in the 7-11 win range.

                    Re: 2011 NFL Predictions Thread

LOL at who picked the broncos to win it all.

On paper it looks like a pats v eagles super bowl

however that can change in week 1 if Brady or Vick was to do a ACL in week 1. (its happened before!!)

I think the under the rador team is the saints, that team is loaded as much as the eagles are.

The question with the pats are, are they still going to go with the myth that whoever they sign turns out to be a superstar?? because for the past 7 years their is a myth that they win *big games and are a clutch team* when they clearly havnt for 7 years.

The Jets are in for a downfall they overachived last year and getting rid of 3 of thier Wrs and signing 2 old guys that are past it is a downgrade. likewise the Buccs.

as for surprise teams this year? Lions I think will be one they might be the chiefs of 201.

Yes this is bias towards my favourite team, but I truely believe this is the Ravens year. Going to stick it to the city who stole their team and raise the Lombardi in their home stadium!

I do not think the SQUEELERS will have a chance to knock of my Ravens this year, cause they wont even make it.

Nah, I know what you mean.

A big thing for Atlanta will be if Tampa continues to improve or if they hit a roadblock this season. Also, Matt Ryan needs to really make a leap if they plan on trying to stay level with the big guns like Philly, New England and Green Bay. Josh Freeman is closing in on him as well and that's another reason to me that he needs to really improve this year.

Meh I don't think a single team in the NFL is underestimating th this year as if you look at the roster it's loaded with talent and depth at almost any position, the only ? Is OLB but even them there is some talent just need to see how they perform. If by under the radar as everyone is ready to crown the Eagles or Packers NFC champs then yeah sure maybe, but I stopped listening to what ESPN said long ago
Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, Lightning

Ugh, this year is gonna be crazy so almost all of our predictions will be off is my prediction...BUT FINE.

                              AFC East Champ: Patriots
                              AFC North Champ: Steelers
                              AFC South Champ: Colts
                              AFC West Champ: Chargers
                              Wild Card #1: Jets
                              Wild Card #2: Ravens

I know, not very original of me but those are the 6 best teams IMO. Houston and Kansas City will be the first two out IMO.

                              NFC East Champ: Eagles
                              NFC North Champ: Packers
                              NFC South Champ: Saints
                              NFC West Champ: Rams
                              Wild Card #1: Falcons
                              Wild Card #2: Giants.

NFC is a crap shoot. I could see the Cowboys getting a wildcard, or the Bucs or the Bears...8 really good teams, fighting for 5 sports(Sorry Rams fan, you are not a good team YET, you are in by default lol).

                              AFC Champ: Patriots over Steelers
                              NFC Champ: Eagles over Packers.
Super Bowl Champ: Eagles over Pats.
