If Ray really has played his last play, or last play in a Ravens uniform, its a sad day. Even as a Steelers fan who hates the Ravens, I have nothing but respect for Ray and I really like the guy as a player and as a person.

I've written in depth how I feel about him in a couple of Raven game threads, mad respect indeed.

One of my favorite defensive players to say the least.

It'll be a year since he was place on IR at the end of November. But he has been dealing with it for quite some time.

Update on Kolb, holy cow:

Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb will be unable to play Sunday vs Minnesota and is expected to be out several weeks after he had multiple ribs detach from his sternum as well as suffering a sprained sternoclavicular joint in his chest area against the Buffalo Bills this past Sunday, according to a team source. Kolb has been battered in recent weeks, absorbing 23 sacks in the past three games alone.

Chargers K Nate Kaeding done for the year with a Groin Injury, Redskins WR Pierre Garçon has a torn tendon in his foot and is out until after their Week 10 Bye and Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew may have suffered a Lisfranc Injury to his foot and could be done for the year, all according to ProFootballTalk.com

Man rough week.

Add Woodson to the list and I don't think I saw anyone mention Fred Davis (likely out for the year). Ravens lost big K.O. and Reed will probably play but clearly isn't healthy... and Ngata went down again.

Couple that with all the Steelers injuries and this year is insane. Big question mark now when it comes to Jones Drew's new contract.

It will depend on if Jennings can carry his preseason performance throughtout the regular season. He had a "decent" game yesterday but he'll have to do more... and he'll be asked to.
