What an amazing finish last night. I was really, really hoping Tebow could do something special, but having to go 95 yards after they had 29 in the 2nd half didn't make me optimistic.

Very interested to see how this plays out...he has a lot of work still to do and as a team if they finish poorly none of this will have mattered. He sure is fun to watch though.

I got you..Between you and me I am not a big Leshoure fan, nor was I when he was in Illinois.
I haven't seen much (Living in the UK.. Sucks), but what I have seen from research is enough to show me that he can good enough to compliment Best.

You may be right... I personally don't think he's the guy for the job.. But hell, I've been wrong before and will be wrong again.

All I know is that it's really fun to watch, and as a fan you can't ask for anything more than to be entertained while a new QB grows and wins at that same time.

But it's not a very good career. I mean Dilfer hung around, Boller is still hanging around, Derek Anderson is probably keeping a spot warm somewhere.

But I think they want Tebow to be more than Kerry Collins - or at least HOPE he is.

Now, I'm not saying they should mess with his mechanics - but if he, over time (it's been a really small sample by an overall young and inexperienced player at the toughest position on the field to play) continues to have problems with accuracy - like 2 of 8 problems - then I think you have to try something...or move him to HB/relegate him to Wildcat type plays (maybe make up another set/plays just for him)

Collins has over 40,000 career passing yards (he's 10th all tiime in career pass yards). He led a team to the super bowl. At age 36 he was 12-3 as a starter for the Titans. His career was a little better than you made it out to be.

Yup, that's a good career but never going to be mistaken for HOF-worthy. Which, I guess, is the expectation for a 1st round QB nowadays. I try to keep my expectations tempered. There can only be a few elite QB's in the NFL at a single time, and right now we have a good few. Just because a QB isn't the best doesn't mean he's not good enough. There are plenty of HOF-caliber QB's who didn't win Super Bowl's and plenty of average QB's who did. Super Bowl is the main goal still, right?

Wait...did you just say the expectation for a 1st round QB is the HOF? No way...I think if a 1st rounder becomes the starter, puts up some All-Pro seasons, and wins some playoff games that is a HIGHLY successful career/draft pick.
