I feel like Canada obviously needs to go while Pickett needs to sit and learn. That's even if they feel like he's in the Steelers long term plans...but then moving on from Pickett would mean admitting their 1st round pick was a waste.

Things are not good in Pittsburgh, after yesterdays loss, they now have Najee speaking out...

This can also be traced back to what led to the benching of Chuks Okorafor

I'm not sure why either the Rooney's or Tomlin haven't done anything as of yet, does Canada have polaroids he shouldn't have?

Year after year, game after game all we get is excuses and "Tomlinisms" that don't amount to anything.

The defense is getting gashed due to being out of gas, and I wouldn't be surprised if Tomlin hasn't lost the locker room or will very soon.

The players are getting fed up, and I would be willing to bet it's not just from the one's coming forward now.

Taking yesterdays game as an example, the defense did enough to set the team up for a win. SteelersDepot has been posting a couple videos today of Kenny just either

    -not hitting open WRs
    -not seeing open WRs

Canada's playcalling is horrible, but Kenny is in Zach Wilson territory right now. I like Kenny, am a Pitt guy, but if he stinks it up in the Bengals game, ya gotta look at Mitch or Rudolph to at least get the passing game going.

John Mara should be unhappy with himself. He set all this dysfunction in motion. It all started when Mara fired Tom Coughlin and kept Jerry Reese. From Reese to Gettleman, it was one bad personnel move/draft pick after another. For me, the worst was trying to win & rebuild at the same time when Eli was past his prime (which I guarantee Mara had a hand in). I was so ticked when they drafted Saquon at #2, instead of going for Josh Allen(QB), and drafting Nick Chubb in Round 2. And for whatever reason, the front office can't put together a quality O-Line, regardless of who's in charge. It's been shaky since Eli's waning years. He has be patient, and let Schoen & Daboll finally get rid of Gettleman's crap and start afresh with their own guys
Maybe there is a curse after firing Coughlin. The Jags have been terrible since 2002 except for a few seasons every 7-10 years. Then they hired him back and almost make it to the superbowl but fire him again and then suck again.

Why is there a random MNF doubleheader in Week 14? Seen them do it in the first few weeks but never this late. Doesn’t appear to be anything special like playing in Mexico City or overseas or anything.

Praise the good Lord up above!!!

I can't believe it took this long, now we'll get to see if KP is part of the problem as well.
If Pickett still struggles then the Steelers might want to take a long look at the draft or free agency.

Also the oline does need to get it together as far as pass blocking goes, as they can't protect for crap.

Long needed imho. It wasn't just this year, he was a horrible OC. The other thing now is it puts the spotlight on Pickett. He has the rest of the year to show it was Canada and he can actually ball. If he does, cool, lets rock. If not, QB shopping time.

Also just seen a clip on youtube from ESPN that the last time the Steelers let someone go during the season was 1941

This was something that should've been done a long time ago, IIRC under Canada, the Steelers never had a 400+ game on offense...talk about terrible...lol

                        It's worse than that.

In 44 games under Matt Canada, the Steelers offense not only never produced 400+ yards of offense (as you correctly remembered), but also only produced 300+ passing yards once, only scored 30+ points in a single game twice, and only scored 2+ passing touchdowns in a game seven times.

I have no idea how any offensive coach lasts that long in the NFL with sustained results that poor.

A little confused here, seen Rich Eisen on youtube that apparently this actually came down from Rooney himself...but then also seen on FB that Tomlin is saying the decision was his?

So either Eisen or Tomlin is wrong here, in the end it doesn't really matter, just glad that he's finally gone.

Eisen did also mention that QB coach Mike Sullivan will be taking over.

Just seen this...apparently Mike Sullivan AND Eddie Faulkner will be involved ...

Despite not being the primary play-caller, Eddie Faulkner has been named interim offensive coordinator in live time by Tomlin. Sullivan will call "the bulk of the plays" while Faulkner runs everything else that an offensive coordinator would normally do on a week-to-week basis. Whether it works or not is to be determined, but nearly anyone else would be considered an upgrade over Canada.

I would interpret this as it being Tomlin's decision, but Rooney had to ok it. It's Rooney's money that is being paid to Canuhduh to sit his *** on his couch for the rest of the year so he'd be the one having to "sign off" on the decision.

Hopefully, Rooney told Tomlin to stop wasting his money by hiring idiots.
