I may be biased, but the Cowboys are the biggest tease in the NFL. Being a Cowboys fan has definitely taken a few years off my life. It wouldn't be so bad if they just **** the bed like in the early '00s...but nope...let's **** with our fans a bit. Looks like we are heading to our 3rd straight 8-8 season....all 3 coming down to final week.

You saw your team produce a crazy amount of HOFers and dominate half a decade with three SB wins. Stop being greedy.

It's ok. I mean, I readily admit I picked Dallas as my team because they won..but I was 5. The attachment and real fan hood never began until Chan Gailey and really blossomed under Dave Campo's 3 straight 5-11 campaigns. Since then it has been nothing but disappointment...at least they are consistently disappointing.

The following is a list of NFC teams that have played in an Conf. Championship Game since the Cowboys last appearance in 1995:

• Philly (5)
• Green Bay (4)
• Atlanta (3)
• Carolina (3)
• Minnesota (3)
• New York (3)
• San Francisco (3)
• Chicago (2)
• New Orleans (2)
• St Louis (2)
• Tampa Bay (2)
• Arizona (1)
• Seattle (1)
• Dallas, Washington and Detroit (n/a)

In that 17 year stretch (soon to be 18) the Cowboys have a total of one playoff win.

One.

There will be kids graduating from high school next spring who have never seen the Cowboys make a playoff run.

He just doesn't seem to get it:

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones admits there is some “inadequacy” with the team’s personnel, but anyone who thinks that means Jones needs to hire a general manager is wrong.
That’s what Jones said on 105.3 The Fan, where he said it would make no sense for the Cowboys to hire a general manager because if the Cowboys hired a general manager, that person would still report to Jones.
“It’s often said, Why don’t I get someone to be the G.M.? Why don’t I get someone to pick the players?” Jones said. “Well, who in the world do you think that person, when they walk through the door and say, ‘We want to get this player, and we want to pay this player,’ what in the world do you think I’m going to do? I’m going to sit down, and I’m going to go through it, and I’m going to say, ‘Show me the player before I write the check. Show me the player. And let me see everything about the player.’ Well, rather than have that happen, I get involved in it and get to know everything there is to know about the players before they get through the door.”
Jones’s explanation, however, seems to miss the point: If Jones hired a general manager, the idea would be that Jones would put his trust in that general manager to make the right decisions, and not say, “Show me the player,” before allowing the general manager to make a signing.
But the reality is, it doesn’t matter what Jones’s reasons are. He bought the Cowboys because he thinks it’s fun to run a football team, and he’s going to continue to run the football team.

I'm sure you'll see it but....Snyder's excuse was so lame I laughed out loud. Yeah take away the carrot that Marty went for (GM duties) before he could even have ONE offseason in that capacity.

I don't think Jerry Jones is delusional, I just don't think he cares. He's old, he's rich, this is his passion project and he's going to do it. I'd probably do the same thing.

I think he IS delusional because he thinks the Cowboys can win with him as GM, and it's painfully obvious he's a terrible GM.
Okay, it's his passion project, but you don't buy and run a football team to be mediocre and have the entire country laughing at you, no matter how much money you make.
