I do like that they're switching the facemask to brown. That's already one improvement on the uni, though I'm still curious on the rest.

Completely underwhelming. Especially when so many in the community have made better versions.

With that said, I understand why Cleveland went with such a minor change. For better or worse, the Browns look is historic and persona to itself. It would be like a team like the Raiders, Cowboys or Yankees changing their logo drastically; it's just unfortunate that Cleveland Browns were born with a less appealing logo mark & identity.

A different shade of orange and softening the Dawg Pound logo...Well it could've been worse. I'm thinking we're going to see orange pants on this uniform set and I for one would LOVE that especially if they wear it with a white jersey. This will probably mean there'll be an orange jersey as well and we'll have to see the atrocity of an all orange ensemble. I'll take that horror if it means the return of the orange pants.

If they go all orange, they will be the second best team wearing an all orange uniform!!! Behind Clemson

A lot of people think the Pro Bowl uniforms were a test run for the future Browns uniforms. At least the white and orange ones.

Cleveland seems like a blue collar town and those pro bowl unis seem like the complete opposite. Can't imagine a 300 lb man in the dawg pound wearing those colors.

They shouldn't cater to those fans anymore. That's what left us with the "new" logo.

Brown face masks are cool but that logo is lame. Seems aimed at children and women

Yeah, the new orange is well done.

The Dawg Pound logo is trash. I like the more aggressive masculine look of the old one.

As many have stated before it, it looks like a cartoon aimed at little kids. Bad stuff.

#1 - The Hardy "paying her off" notion is ridiculous. You need this thing called evidence and somebody would have to talk somewhere. Believe me no DA gives two rats butts about this DV case in the grand scheme of things. It's a he said/she said fiasco between two suspect characters. They both sound in the wrong to me on that case. Sounds like she wanted money and she got it. Hardy is the idiot who fell for a jersey chaser.

#2 - Jerry Rice's gloves. Sure you can make the argument that it was illegal then but it's legal now (super sticky gloves they wear). That ODB catch isn't possible without those sticky gloves. He caught it with 3 fingers. I'm not taking away from the incredible athleticism and hand/eye coordination...but there's no way you catch that without the aid of the sticky gloves.

For those talking on it: have you wore football gloves recently? I have and it is crazy those things are allowed. It is this somewhat sticky material that covers the glove and it is like glue with footballs.
I have never worn gloves playing football, so I'm not sure about its effectiveness. That being said Dbs for the most part cannot catch footballs consistently and many of them wear gloves. Either way I think the League should do something about it.

                            best regards

If they are all using those gloves, then the playing field is leveled and it shouldn't matter. It's not like they catch it for you. You still have to go get the ball.

Since 2005, the most drops in the league has hovered around 10-12, so it isn't having that great of an affect as some may think.

I'm actually relieved the Browns didn't add a logo. It's hard enough for EA to get the orange tint right. They don't need the added complications of getting a new logo right.
