Did he...Did he really say that?

My God.....Just when I think it couldn't get worse for Lions fans, it does.

Could the Seahawks have a better offensive line if they didn't have to pay all their defensive players top money?

Sounds like it could be tough giving Okung, who was a very high draft pick, an extension after this year, for instance.

And haven't they used relatively high picks, like second or third rounders, on OL but they haven't panned out?

That's probably the most debatable thing there is.

Outside of Red Zone Channel, watching a single NFL game on TV is probably the worst out of any of the major sports (NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL and Soccer being included.)

Interesting, I'm probably the opposite as far as a watch live:TV ratio is concerned. For me, the NFL contains the smallest ratio (NHL probably the largest, the rest sandwiched in between).

I will give you RedZone as the most exciting way to watch (especially when fantasy is concerned), but I enjoy watching a SNF game as much as anybody, and I love it much more than seeing it live.

I wasn't say watch live vs. watch on TV.

I'm saying strictly for watching a game on on TV, the NFL is far and away the worst of all the big professional sports.

For me it's baseball and it's not even close. But to each their own.

I barely watch football outside of Texans games and even then I haven't because of the circus surrounding that garbage franchise.

Sports in general have become increasingly insufferable to watch and pay attention to.

This cost Carson $11,576. Money well spent in my opinion.

Is it just me or is there just way too much bad offensive line play in the NFL now? Plus it seems like so many lineman switch teams in free agency but they don't pan out with the new team (for example, Zane Beadles)

Someone playing for Detroit or Seattle.

I really think it is partially due to the QB game in college football.

QBs in colleges run offenses that make it a priority to make the QB's job easier by limiting the number of reads and checks they have to make. Then these QBs enter the NFL where they have a huge responsibility when it comes to making reads at the line.

When the defense blitzes in the NFL the QB is just as responsible as the linemen are (also any back in pass protection).

I think the offensive line tends to get the least physically gifted players (outside of LT) and it shows in comparison to defensive lines.
