alright guys, can you help me out here? i have heard that it actually costs money to play your madden 2003 game online for ps2....is that true? anyone know? is it free or what?

No it is free on the PS2.

forget about it... too many cheesers.. I asked before I played my last game for no cheesers.. and I got one.. I think he quit and now I am stuck at the kickoff screen.. I can't get it going now.. I will not quit as I have all night..

He rushed faulk every time.. I shut him doiwn.. when he passed I picked the ball off.. I had 3 picks... it was 23-7 in the 4th.. he had no game and he knew it... on a xtra point he would go offsides and wait for me to snap the ball.... I did a fake took the delay of game and finally was able to kick it......

So he disconnected and now you are stuck?? Relogin and see if it says you have a disconnect or if it gave you a win or loss.

well my switch is going crazy so I think he is still in the game... if he quit and the game lets me finish and I win, then I get the W... so I am just gonna wait.. I have all night.. I have all 3 consoles too. so I am in no hurry.

Yea thats why I rarely play against random people. Its either a league, tournament, or someone I know, rarely anyone else

he finally quit.. and I won.. if you play online and run into a cheeser who pauses the game at the kickoff screen just let your system sit there.. don't reward their lack of sportsmanship and class with you getting a disc and a loss.

I'd like to play online. Two problems I have.
56k dial-up modem worried about lag...
and the quitters and cheesers. I'd probably be easy to beat too considering I have never played ANYTHING online and rarely play against human opponents anymore.
