If Green Bay is smart they will grab Lattimore at the end of the 2nd...

Willis McGahee had the exact same injury that Lattimore had in college and was still drafted in the 1st Round.

Not exact since IIRC that was Willis' first knee injury and this is Lattimore's 2nd, right?

McGahee also missed an entire season before he debuted.

Also, McGahee's injury didn't involve a broken leg, which Lattimore's did.

              Lattimore didn't break anything.

He torn his ACL, MCL and PCL.

              No broken bones.

I see a lot of people comparing Te'o to Urlacher, so that's probably why they're putting him in as the Bear's pick.

I think he's an average player and not worth the hoopla that would come along with him. I don't want the Bears using a 1st round pick on him.

I don't really know what the Bears necessarily need, but I think he's a pretty good value that late in the 1st round. I still think he'll be the best ILB in this draft when it's all said and done.

                        --------

In other news, has anyone else gone through tape of all the QBs in the draft? I'm just curious how everyone views the QBs. I finally finished watching tapes of all of them (or at least most of them) and came away ranking them like this:

                        1. Geno (only if he does well in the interviews though, because his intangibles still worry me)
                        2. Barkley (upside is limited, but he and Nassib seem to have the best mechanics and he seems to be the most accurate of any of the other QBs; he's still a very talented guy, despite how bad his senior year went).
                        3. Nassib (good, quick release, knowing him around campus, the guy's intangibles are off the charts; basically Tim Tebow intangibles minus the headache that comes from the media with Tebow. Moreover, he has a strong arm, good footwork, and he's a late bloomer, improving significantly each year).
                        4. Tyler Wilson (Supposedly also has great intangibles, has a pretty quick release, good accuracy and touch, but I don't like his throwing style and think he's going to struggle alot with deeper passes).

The rest aren't really worth ranking in my opinion. They're all a mess.

                          Re: 2013 NFL Draft Discussion

Barkley is a prospect who is good at a couple of things, who played at a big college and may get a little overhyped. I don't really see him as a starting NFL QB.

I like Smith. He is REALLY good at running screen plays, which is kind of a lost art in the NFL. His arm is strong, although sometimes inaccurate. I think he's a typical late 1st, early 2nd who may get drafted far too early and be considered a bust because of it.

Nassib is interesting. He really developed under Marrone, but he still doesn't have the prototypical NFL QB skills to be a successful starting QB. But if he could continue his vast improvement that he showed under Marrone? Who knows?

Wilson is the Colt McCoy special. Weakish arm, slight frame. He's tough, though, and he is fairly decently accurate. I think he's a backup at the next level.

Mike Glennon from NC State is probably going to be a 1st Round pick. He has more potential than Nassib, Wilson, and Barkley.

Also, EJ Manuel is going to go in the 2-3 range considering his strong performance at the Senior Bowl.

OLine. Period. We suck at multiple positions there.

Also see us taking some CB's peanut isn't getting any younger. And some LB's Briggs and Urlacher are coming to the end.

So areas of need base on Importance of position.
