To everyone arguing for the Geno Smith pick, the point that's being made here is that to bring a guy is who is by no means a lock, and put him in a situation where he has nothing to work with, it seems to spell doom for both parties. Geno Smith isn't Andrew Luck or RG3, he ain't comin into the Jets organization and turnin it around damn near single handedly. He may be better than Sanchez (who knows), and maybe he'll be successful, but this situation is only gonna make it harder for him. Best of luck to him.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Discussion
I like this pick, I think Amerson has a ton of potential at CB/S. If he can learn to move his hips better and learn not to bite on double moves, I like the potential Amerson can bring.NFL: Houston Texans / Carolina Panthers
NBA: Indiana Pacers
MLB: Cleveland Indians
NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers
NASCAR: Ryan Newman

People were screaming all year "The Jets need to get a QB to replace Sanchez and Tebow is not the answer" and when they do it, people still hate that pick. The overreaction is a bit much I must say.#RespectTheCultureComment

Yeah, but look at the year before, he has a ton of talent and it's there, just he needs coached up and could be a heck of a player at either CB or Safety.NFL: Houston Texans / Carolina Panthers
NBA: Indiana Pacers
MLB: Cleveland Indians
NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers
NASCAR: Ryan Newman
