I hope Sanchez starts and Smith has some time to ease into this thing, otherwise that's a real tough situation.
Nah, I know what you mean as well. Like I said, I personally would've preferred Ryan Nassib, or EJ Manuel, I'm no longer keen on USC QB's so I didn't want Matt Barkley. Manuel got picked up yesterday by a division rival, so we got the next best option, I think. I don't think he can change the organization from the jump but we'll see. Nobody thought Russell Wilson would start over Matt Flynn, or take the Seahawks to the playoffs in one year. Bottom line is, he's the better option over Mark Sanchez, and that's all we've needed at QB, some one who was better than Sanchez. He's agile, he has the potential to be a serious playmaker on his feet, he has accuracy issues, but he has an arm, and as mentioned, he's good on his feet. In this new age of the game with this new age of Quarterbacks, I think he's just what we needed. I think he'll start over Sanchez, but that's just me. He says he's open to competition. So we'll just have to see. I think he'll make an impact.

I'm a big fan of Wheaton. Whoever gets him is getting a steal.

I have a feeling New England may be targeting him.

It is going to happen. I think we'll get either Wheaton or Barrett Jones. Then we still have a 4th, 5th comp and 6th comp pick for tomorrow.

Not for coverage. But you will like his hitting power. Of course in this league he might get fined a lot. Swearinger is one of those guys who's 40 time doesn't stand out but if you watch him play you will like what you see. I have seen him against Vanderbilt in person twice.

I feel like you'll like his play (besides some possible dirty play), and probably hate the way he carries himself knowing you.

He's good for a few defenseless hits penalties this season, but he'll be great in run support like Quinn was, although he's not the ballhawk Reed is or Ravens' new safety, Matt Elam is.

I like the pick, he may play some box safety and help the front 7 in run support.

That's how I feel. I feel he could be like a Brandon Jacobs of sort.

Mayock has just said a few teams had shared some medical info to him about Lacy. There are injury concern with him. Lacy may be a one contract then out of the league due to injuries type of guy.

                            That is not good.

Great. Sounds like he needs to tone it down a bit. Hopefully more Cushing and less Pollard, in terms of crossing the line from intensity to dirty play. Nothing I hate more than unnecessary penalties.
