Really want to see Baltimore go all the way not only would it cap off Ray Lewis' career but it would get some of the other Ravens players who are extremely talented a ring (Rice, Flacco, Reed, NGata, Suggs).

But it is hard to bet against Brady and the Pats at home and In the playoff's with the record he has, But everyone this season has seen that the Pats D can be liable to collapse at any time.

I've not been following the NFL as long as most other people or Ravens fans on the forum but I think I've been following long enough to give a decent opinion.

The line opened with the Pats as 7.5 favorites and currently sets at -9.

A little surprising considering Brady's struggles against Baltimore, the Ravens improving and more healthy defense, Gronk out, and Cam not the OC.

If the line is really -9, that is easy money.

            Intresting stat came out today.
Without Gronk the Pats average only drops by 1 point and 16 yards.
            So I'll say a 26-24 Pats win.

Scratch that. One of the Ravens started yapping.
            Pats 51-20.

I'm sure it was not accepted. Better send over a fruit basket and some Uggs.

I know one thing. That tweet will not be a factor in this game.

If a handful of key Ravens expressed those sentiments I'd say there'd be a motivation . If a Chris McAllister (former CB) made those remarks that could do the trick too.

                    Not going to matter.

We these teams play the games are usually good. I would love to see Ray Lewis and Ed Reed end their illustrious careers in the Super Bowl. For that reason I am pulling for the Ravens.

It's an interesting story, but I don't think his comments will have any impact on the game. Both teams will be highly motivated and nothing anyone says will add or take away from how they play on Sunday.

Rob, how did you become a Skin's fan over the Ravens (or Colts/Ravens if you're near my age)?

My Dad was stationed in Washington DC in the mid-late 50's (I {and my twin} were born in Bethesda Naval Hospital). He became a Colt fan after watching the classic "Greatest Game Ever Played" 1958 NFC title game between Baltimore and New York. He's from Texas but was never a Cowboy fan...of course the Pokes came a couple of years after that game. From DC to Virginia to arriving in Maryland at age 8 we followed our dad's lead and became big Colt (Balt version) fans.

The only reason I brought it up is because he was mildly interested in the Skins before that game.

Re: AFC Championship Game: Baltimore Ravens (4) @ New England Patriots (2)

Born in Alexandria, VA in 81, lived in Arlington, VA until I was 16 then I moved to Central MD. I was well indoctrinated in the Redskins and was lucky enough to have my mom split season tickets with a co-worker. So growing up in the 80's and 90's the Skins were relevant and I loved going to RFK.

Joined the Navy, but stayed a skins fan, came back to MD in 2005 and moved to Laurel, which is kinda the unofficial dividing line of MD for Ravens/Skins
