It is absurd. Aaron Hernandez hasn't even been convicted of any crime yet, but don't tell ESPN that.
Unless I'm unaware of the actual definition of the boundaries of the law, the man has at the very least obstructed justice in a murder imvestigation.

I think it's very interesting that as soon as she pulls into the station, thuglyfe's girlfriend, who's sister is apparently a witness of the alleged double murder probe, immediately starts saying Lloyd was a drug dealer so now, of course, we can use our imagination and picture a number of reasons why he would be shot. Smart move on their part, not very subtle tactic tho

      Nice Minority Report reference, BTW

I don't think this has anything to do with NFL headquarters. We gotta accept that these guys aren't heroes anymore. It ain't Ruth and Gehrig anymore. A lot of these guys take in diva personalities and, quite frankly, just like a lot of regular working people, are not good dudes. They just aren't solid people, period. This is gonna happen.

I'm pretty sure it's been stated that they were both with him when the shooting happened.
Ortiz says he didn't get out of the car. So he didn't actually see who shot the guy.

At this point it is just hearsay. The prosecutor needs both guys to flip on him for that to stick. Because if both say it was just them 4 in the car and both say Hernandez and Lloyd got out of the car and they heard gun shots then they can use that in court.

But as of now just hearsay until Wallace makes the same statement.

            Re: Aaron Hernandez Saga

This whole Aaron Hernandez thing has me thinking about a couple of things:

            1. Is he trying to reach OJ via inter-prison mail for a copy of his "How To Get Away With Murder For Dummies" book.

            2. If he beats this, will he spike a football in the courtroom and do a celebration dance.

            3. What does Ray Caruth think about all of this.

            4. How many cartons of cigarettes does a 23 year old "tight end" go for in prison these days. I would imagine it has to be a lot.

Sorry just wanted to lighten up the mood for a minute.

Seriously though, I don't think he's completely clean. Shooter or not the shooter, hes not clean in this.

So, just because he didn't get out of the car, he couldn't see who shot the guy? A bullet was in the car.. which means a bullet was more likely than not fired in the car.

I don't want to hear that bull coming from Ortiz.

The "motivation" for either Wallace or Ortiz to do ANYTHING OTHER than point the finger at Hernandez is running thin...

One of the three is getting tried for murder...

I agree with you. But I am sure there is more evidence that has not been made public that directly proves AH was the shooter. Which is why the Detectives arrested and charged AH first.

If they have solid evidence, the statements from Wallace and Ortiz will just be icing on the cake for the Prosecutor.

Aaron Hernandez has many friends and former teammates, so it's not surprising a few would decide to support him as he faces charges of first-degree murder. The Pouncey brothers seem to have chose an interesting way to proclaim their support. … Continue reading →

Probably too damn stubborn. Either that or they kept it to themselves.

It's just really insensitive to the family of the victim. It's one thing to have your personal opinions but they represent the NFL brand. This isn't two average Joe's. There is a standard of player conduct that people need to abide by for the image of the league.

I don't see how they possibly thought this was okay in any sense.
