lol, funny hearing those few random people in the crowd chanting "WHAT" at any chance they get when a pick is being announced.

Sounds good on paper, but football isn't played on paper.

You can have all the weapons you want, but if you can't develop a QB he'll never be able to utilize them; there are too many scenarios like that in NFL history... it's what separates the guys who became great and the guys who've been forgotten. We'll just have to see what happens, but I have zero faith in the Cleveland Browns organization and their ability to develop a winning NFL QB.

Hope Philly gets Cody Latimer here. Do not want Lee under any circumstances.

Very true. They still love their Bernie Kosar despite his well-documented issues and with him never even making the Super Bowl.

What the Browns need is some constancy. They've got talent on both sides of the ball, now if this new regime can stick around for a while, they may have something. The question now is whether they let Manziel sit behind Hoyer for a while, or throw him right to the wolves.

Campbell is afraid to throw the football farther than 10 yards, he's just weird.

Well if Bridgewater doesnt go to AZ, he will be wearing a Texans or Raiders jersey from the 2nd round.

Get out of here with that, Weeden was a panic pick by a FO that knew they were out the door if they didn't win now.

Weeden was not promising, he is awful.

Agreed. Maybe he thought he can be a starter in Dallas, I don't know.

But to hear he didn't look happy about being drafted to Cleveland.. (I'm at work and didn't see it) he should be relieved, if he's not gonna be ecstatic.

There'll be a LOT of pressure for Cleveland to start Manziel right away. If he clearly outplays Hoyer in the preseason than I fear Manziel will be the starting QB in Week 1.

Two sides of the different coins we are seeing here. Weeden is no Brady or Manning, but you get told you're job is to turn the team around in one year with a front office like that and you succeed. Weeden wasn't perfect, but I've seen worst.

I agree fans will be calling for him but I hope Pettine and the FO will be smart enough to take their time.

If he is ready week 1 go with him, if Hoyer is better now then give Hoyer the chance to run with it.
