Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I don't know where the writers of these reports you're reading are getting that he's not an intense competitor. He got into a shoving match with his Center in a 42-10 rout in one of his BCS title games because they disagreed on a call. Saban often had to calm him down in games because he got too intense and it affected his play.
He may be limited physically, but I don't see how anyone can question his competitiveness.__________________________________________________ ____

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I imagine this is something ESPN probably ran last year
BREAKING NEWS UPDATE
This just in to Sportscenter, nice guy QB AJ McCarron just finished his last game at Alabama. Instead of throwing an immature hissy on the field for losing, he reacted like a mature adult and understood this was the end of a long and fruitful college career. Let's cut to Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith for their quick takes:
Skip: AJ McCarron's reaction is pitiful. Does he even want to win? He wasn't visibly upset and throwing a tantrum on the field after a loss. Stephen A, how in the world did THIS guy beat Johnny Football? He just isn't a winner, he won't be successful at the NFL level.
Stephen A.: I have to agree Skip, McCarron is simply insignificant to the NFL draft in May. His lack of animated behavior is a huge red flag and I can't possibly give my vote of confidence to a guy who wanders the post game so unassuming and calm.
Skip: TIM TEBOW wouldn't react like this. Tim Tebow could easily have taken this Alabama team to the championship, he could have taken the Broncos to a Superbowl victory this year...
That's all the time we have for this Sportscenter update, I'm *insert SC anchor here*
EDIT: And there can't be on the field issues TC9, it just isn't possible!Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I'm quite pleased with my Raiders this year. We just need to fire Dennis Allen now... and spend next year's draft filling holes and soon to be holes after the Tuck, Woodley, MJD experiment is over in three years.__________________________________________________ ____

Just depends on the team and their depth at that spot, among other variables. Most keep 4-6. I'd say 5 is the average, but that's a guess.Tennessee Volunteers

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Off the field reports are bad on both. AJ and Michael were both up for the SEC's "Nice Guy of the Year" award. That's never an award you want to win if you want to play in the National Football League.Comment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I don't get the joke. So what if he gets drafted before McCarron? That means a team would rather have a player that can contribute on special teams than an average at best quarterback.Boston Red Sox
