Yep, they didn't show any reactions last year. At this point it's the viewer's fault if they get spoiled because no one is forcing them to constantly look at Twitter. I don't understand why some people bitch and moan on Twitter the entire day about this like they weren't expecting it to happen.Comment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I think it sucks that the picks are announced before they're announced on stage. We're online because we're football fans and we want to discuss with other football fans as it happens. That's half the fun. A while back we used to have an OS Chat Room going on AIM for the draft. Every year that thing was a blast.
Now you might say "they're being announced anyway and you're discussing it anyway" but you're watching the draft to watch picks announced by the commissioner, not by some ****head writer online. Well, at least I do. It's just anticlimactic is all.
At this point, I'm so sick of the draft discussion that I'd be happy to wake up tomorrow and see every pick has been spoiled already.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 04-09-2014, 01:29 AM.Comment

Murray and the QB from LSU are gonna thrive. I think Murray will end up being the top 2-3 QB in this draft after a couple years. But what do I know?

^^^The Lions had Mettenberger in for a visit. If he was just there after a few rounds, I wouldn't mind them taking him.
In other news Tom Savage, Pitt's QB, has been invited to the draft which seems odd. Guess his stock is climbing.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Nothing has infuriated me more this draft cycle than the apparent meteoric rise of Tom Savage's draft stock.
I watched him play against Virginia. Small sample size and whatnot, but he was just terrible. The only reason that he wasn't the worst quarterback I saw on the field in college last season is because Virginia had the worst starting quarterback in the entirety of FBS last year.Comment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Everything I read about Savage says he has all the physical tools, he just needs to pull the mental aspect together. Idk, since I never watched him play, but we know how scouts and GMs fall in love with potential.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I kinda like what I see in Tom savage (only saw him play in the bowl game) but he belongs no where near the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd round. I'd say 5th round at bestChicago Cubs
Michigan Wolverines
Thanks Peyton. #18Comment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I've only seen Savage play a couple times but his wrists concerned me. I like my quarterback to have a wider wrist so that when they throw the ball, you get that "snap".Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
