Please Cowboys, wait until #3 and trade the Jaguars your entire draft for the #3 pick, you can even include next year if you want

Everything I've read is that the Cowboys are actually in a reasonable situation with regard to the 2015 salary cap, unlike this offseason.

That said, they will indeed have to pay Dez after this year, and expect Tyron Smith to also get a new contract; they'll likely pick up Smith's fifth-year option for 2015 this week, but that's something like $10M which they'll want to push down.

There is the Superbowl and not too long after there is free agency. FA started on March 11th. Two months later, the draft begins. There are 3 other sports with more interesting things going on. Two leagues are in playoffs and the other is just getting started. No one where I live/work/ect. has mentioned the NFL since Golden Tate signed with the Lions.

Everyone has an opinion but NFL is king and it isn't even close. I'm from NE. Redsox just won the world series, Bruins are in the playoffs and expected to make it to the stanley cup (not to mention they are playing on draft night) and Celtics are top 5 in the lottery. With all that going on in the other 3 sports, everyone where I live/work/ect. is still talking about the NFL.

Well, as a Lions fans, you guys haven't had much to talk about since Sanders retired.

But seriously, like Johnny said, it's not even close. There's a reason that Jameis Winston gets a headline for stealing crab legs but no one gives a **** that the Kings just had a ridiculous comeback in the playoffs.

The NFL is king year round and all the other sports are it's jesters.

We can forget about the Browns drafting a quarterback. They signed their future today in Taylor Thigpen.

I get you guy's points about the NFL being talked about, but come on. You're comparing it to Hockey. Easily the 4th or 5th popular sport in America, depending on where you would place soccer.

Found this as a cool story.

Even when Tarik Black was handed Aaron Rodgers' cell phone number, he refused to text the former MVP for a month. "I didn't know what to say," he explains. Black's roommate had to nudge him into it. Finally he composed a message: "Just wanted to see if you were serious," Black wrote.

Im hoping they do but I dont know if anyone in this class is worth giving up part of the farm for. Ive heard everything from Atlanta wanting the #1 pick for Clowney to Dallas for manzel to the newest one from Peter King saying the Eagles may move up to the TOP 5 to take a stab at Mike evans.. I'd like to see the Saints go WR in the 1st if someone like Lee or Cook is there.

I'd do backflips if Aaron Murray ended up a Saint as a backup, always felt like he'd be one of the better guys from college recently.
