The DPI with the ultra late flag was pure silliness and I'm not certain that the 3rd & 17 catch was actually made in bounds, but San Diego couldn't put together a coherent drive in the first 45 minutes so Denver absolutely deserved to win.

Is everyone ready for another Brady-Manning Bowl of Overhyped Proportions?

San Diego sure gave Denver a run for their money..........In the 2nd half.

Really if the Chargers hadn't dropped a turd in the 1st half this would've been a lot more interesting game.

Congrats Denver I wished the Chargers defense would have made a stop.

Agreed on the PI but the Thomas catch was legit, I rewound it a couple times to double check. He definitely dragged the toe.

Man, although it did get very exciting in the end, that game just didn't seem right.

That kickoff after the FG was a pretty boneheaded decision. They could have still delivered though, on two 3rd and longs, but failed miserably. You disappoint me San Diego.

Anyway though, Kennan Allen is good!

Yeah, it wasn't as clear from the far angle, but you can see turf come up from the dragging toe.

Apparently Chris Harris was questionable with a knee/ankle injury, so thats why Jammer was in there.

Broncos still have a lot to fix. Decker had 3 big things go against him, Bolden was just stupid with his block in the back. Defense too up and down

Ya that was a good catch. He got solid drag on the toe.

San Diego just couldn't get off the field in the end. The Offense waited until it was desperation time to get going.

Now another Brady/Manning bowl to decide the AFC.... who didn't see this one coming.

The odds of making two onside kicks in a row are terrible. Not to mention, had the SD defense not **** the bed on 3rd and 17, things would've looked VERY good for the Chargers.

Very true… two timeouts, an incomplete the play before… that was SD's ball to have, and they give up 21 yards on a 3rd and forever. It would have come down to Rivers needing to force some throw in double coverage though had they gotten the ball back. The time for 7 was the drive after the onside to me.

I agree, though I do think kicking the field goal was the right decision, obviously. At the end of the day, the Chargers just waited entirely too long to get things going on offense.

You can save your odds man. Thats antiquated old man coaching. They had an unreasonable faith in their defense in stopping Manning at that point in the game and it ended up costing them imo. Hindsight maybe, but I called it a dumb move when the kickoff happened as well (on the twitter).
