I'd love to see a Chargers victory, but I believe Welker's return will be the difference.

I expect Denver to win but give the Chargers respect and think the point spread is too high.San Diego executed the perfect gameplan last time and it was still a one td game.I don't think things will go that perfectly for them this time.

I don't consider this a gimme but you're either a Chargers fan or really don't like Denver if you pick San Diego to win this game on the road.Yes,it happened one time and could happen again, but the odds aren't good.

Go Denver. I think it'll be a tight game but I'd love it if it was a blowout.

Same, I'm really rooting for the Chargers. Would love to see Rivers get his crack at a SB.

I think they definitely have the confidence to go in and beat Denver. You have to wonder; If Peyton has a costly turnover at a critical juncture would it be that Deja Vu feeling of past play off let downs? I just wonder what Mike McCoys play calling will be like if say the Chargers fall behind a few scores early on? I personally think the Chargers will call this game like it's going to be a shoot out from the get-go and take their shots early in the game.

Am I the only one who wants to see the Chargers win for the sole purpose of keeping that ridiculous streak of Eagles week one foes winning it all?

It is an interesting streak but just to clarify, it's not their week one opponent as I've seen posted a couple times here, it's their home opening opponent.

They hosted the Ravens last year in week two and the Chargers this year in week two as well. In 2011 their home opener wasn't until week three when they played the Giants.

I stand corrected. Still a funny streak.

I actually think they will play ball control and try to run, run, run the clock out. Keep Manning off the field as much as possible.

The Matthews-Woodhead tandem has been subtle but deadly for the Chargers. That rookie Keenan Allen was a serious find.

Chargers are on the right future track and who knows what happens in Denver? I hope it's a great game like Baltimore-Denver last year, but I'm rooting for the underdog.

I dunno what got into Mathews but he ended up having a really good season. All I had known about him coming into this year was he was drafted high, was injured a lot, and fumbled frequently. I think Woodhead coming in and sharing the work load in a different way (lots of receptions) really helped. Woodhead was a great fantasy pick up for me, consistent every week it seemed.

Keenan Allen has been IMPRESSIVE. I think he's gonna consistently produce at a high rate. Don't think he'll hit those superstar highs, but he'll give you 80 reception and 1100 yards a year. Allow other players to work against 2nd and 3rd corners. What an excellent draft pick.

Chargers fans should be excited. Rivers is back, the offense appears to be in good hands, not sure how the defense is holding up, and a good young coach to steer the ship.

Good assesment of Allen. I don't think he's going to be an elite type WR, but he's going to be a very good legit #1 type of WR.

I really like the young trio of pass catchers with Allen, Ladarius Green and Vincent Brown.

The Chargers have some nice pieces for the future. Keep an eye on Melvin Ingram as he continues to get stronger coming off the ACL surgery.

Denver is still the most talented team in the division, but KC and SD are closing the gap.

Just imagine this offense if we had Flloyd and Alexander on the outside with Allen working the middle. Along with Green, Gates and Woodhead and that's a pretty scary offense.

And Royal who's been very good this year.

I think Floyd has taken his last snap as a Charger, and I am not sure what they will do with Alexander.
